Review Time
While looking for some new shimmers to add to my collection I came across Question Beauty. Had seen the review by Nikki Tutorials and was intrigued in the company. However, for common use I prefer pressed eyeshadow to loose pigment in general. Their first palette, a ten pan with 5 pressed shimmers/glitters and 5 mattes, Chapter 1, Legend of the Land and Sea had just come out and I was in love. Shades of dark and light blue, green, gold, brown and white . Put off buying for a little while but kept coming back to it. Then Chapter 2, Fable of Spice and Bloom came out (varying shades of purple, orange, green and pearl) and knew I had to have them. Since they are limited edition I decided to order both. Both are 10 pan palettes with 5 beautiful, multichromatic glittery shades and 5 mattes. The shimmers are truly gorgeous, creamy and full of glitter. Surprised me in a good way by being very multichromatic, so each colour has multiple variations within itself. There are different textures to the glitter too, some are larger particles and some are much smaller. The mattes are alright, soft and creamy, but nothing mind blowing, the glitters are definitely the star here. Felt like a fairy princess with my eyes done. The Chapter 1 lid features beautiful artwork of a green and blue dragon, while Chapter 2 features 2 intricate moths of opposing colour patterns. The artwork was part of the reason I wanted them in my collection. Both palettes have a black plastic base that is magnetised to the lid, so no need to worry about the lid ever snapping off. The primary reason I wanted these were the glitters and the artwork apparently by a NZ artist. Was happy to support a local business at that.Shipping took a couple weeks, a little longer than I thought but fairly reasonable considering it was shipped from overseas. Was well packaged, but en route a couple of pans of Chapter 2 were damaged. Reached out to the company and their customer service was absolutely fantastic! Same day reply, easy communication and great efforts by them to make things right, no excuses or silent treatment like some brands. Was given a voucher equal to the cost of the palette so I could replace it or choose something else. Was already quite happy with my experience of the brand, the great customer service just took it up another notch. I look forward to their next Chapter release! Great products, great service, win win
As a huge fan of all things glitter, purchasing from Question Beauty was a no brainer for me. The colours and sparkles are amazing, there is so much choice, the makeup itself is stunning, the pricing is in comparison to other makeup brands, delivery turnaround is quite quick and the best part is my 26 year old daughter sent me a link to look at this makeup and I could proudly tell her, I already owned some, confirming it is suitable for all ages.
Just wanted to say i love your products and couldn't decide and did a gamble and got a stack. both chapter 1 and chapter 2. And the eye gel primer and the brush set. Outcome was 10/10. easy to apply, blend and try new looks. I didn't bring any lipstick. all lip looks are from the eye palette. i would like to see more tutorials as I am only a beginner/occasional makeup user. the ones i saw on tiktok certainly helped. Thank you so much!
The eye shadow powder I received was 1/4 full. Almost empty in fact. I contacted the company and they offered $15 off another purchase. I told them no, and I would review as appropriate. Not purchasing from them again. If I could attach a picture here I would to explain that this was a tiny amount in the pot.
Absolutely amazing! I bought the Magenta Florals shimmer glitter for some fairy fun and I'm absolutely loving it! You only need a little and it goes a long way. It isn't scratchy like normal glitter, its super super soft and delicate. It arrived in about a week. I had a problem with the delivery as the Evri delivery driver left it in my bloody food waste bin but I contacted Question Beauty immediately to let them know and they raised it to Evri immediately and gave me a one time 15% of code as an apology. Got to speak to a human being who was very sweet and very helpful. Honestly over the moon with this order and planning on using the code to get some mascara too! Well worth the money.
