Wish I'd read the reviews before I got robbed by these crooks.... I ordered a part, a fender flare for a Jeep Wrangler Sport. The sent the wrong part and when I went to return it, because of the box size dimensions, the cheapest shipping cost was more than the part cost. They said they're not responsible for return shipping even though it was their mistake. Total scumbags!
Placed my order and when the order arrived it was 1 part short. Tried to contact them 4 different times for a resolve but they never responded back. No way to talk to anybody all you get is a form to fill out and a statement that they will get right back with you but they never do. Buyer beware they are not worth dealing with. Very poor customer service.
When the shifter cable broke on my 2004 Mazda 6i 2.3 manual transmission, the Quirk Parts website advised I needed part GK2C-46-500L (I used the actual VIN to search). The part arrived in approx 10 days and in questionable condition with both dust boots torn. I decided to use the part anyway since I did not have another 10 days to wait for a different part that may have been no better in quality. After 3 hours removing/reinstalling, it became apparent the new one was not a direct fit. Measuring old vs new, the new was 3 inches longer and unable to function. I attempted to contact Quirk Parts through their "Contact Us" phone number, but only received an automated message to use the online contact us form. Filling out the form, I requested to be contacted by phone to discuss four times - I have yet to receive a call from them. Rather, I received terse, unprofessional emails stating I needed a different part (GK2A-46-500L), they have a disclaimer advising they are not always correct, and they wont pay for return shipping. They actually sent me a screen shot of their webpage with the 99.8% accuracy circled, and their version of a disclaimer – which states “If you are not sure whether or not a part in our store will fit your vehicle…”. I replied that I had no reason to be unsure as their site advised the part would fit, and the fitment listed my car. This has yet to be resolved to my satisfaction – despite their homepage also stating “Satisfaction Guarantee”.
Ordered four parts for my vehicle, got an email stating two of the parts were backordered, would be about 5 days to get. The next day got another email stating that all 4 parts have shipped. Received the package, only the two parts they had in stock in the package, charged for all 4. Weeks go by, no parts, no response to email.You are better off at your local dealership parts counter.
Another victim of this scam company. Ordered $231 worth of parts. Got an email saying ordered was shipped and everything I ordered was in the shipment. Email contained a tracking number for USPS and showed it to be delivered 5/31/22. Package arrived and Lo and behold, the only items in the box were 2 antennas worth 23.50. The other two items that totaled $164 was not in the box. There is now ay to contact the company by phone, they only have a recorded message saying to track the order through the shipper. DUH shipper shows it was delivered. Email sent, contact form filled out, no response either way. Rating should be -10.
They sent a defective part, which is understandable as that can happen even with parts straight from the factory. I returned my item and have not received a refund or a replacement part. It has been a week since I last emailed them with no response. I sent another email this afternoon that also went ignored. I have never before dealt with a company (big or small) that ignores it's customers.. I have seem many other reviews stating people have not recieved refunds either. This is theft. If I do not receive a refund or replacement I will have to legally escalate the situation.
I ordered a drivers side Marker and bulb for my 2014 Ford Mustang online. The company sent me a part that does not fit my year Mustang after about a two week wait to receive part. I emailed them and they advise me it is not there fault this is what I ordered. Very poor customer service. Please do not use this service order from dealership and your life will be easier.
If I could give Zero stars I would. Placed an order online and they emailed saying that it would be delayed because they were waiting to get the part from the wholesaler. No problem with that, but when the package finally came in the mail, the cargo cover was cracked on both ends rendering it useless. There were also scratches in the middle of the cover. Very poorly packed. I emailed customer service and received no response. Luckily I paid with PayPal, and I opened a dispute with them. PayPal contacted them and no response. So I then my case was escalated by PayPal. Still no response. PayPal just closed my case today and issued me a full refund. Bad customer service by quirkparts.com. Thanks to PayPal I got my full refund! I should have read the previous reviews.
