THIS IS A SCAMThey advertise facilities as open 24hrs when they are not. I booked for 8am, and had to wait an hour for the place to open at 9am. The live help provides no assistance and they don't take any responsibility. They know what they are doing and wash their hands of you once they have your money. USE ANOTHER COMPANY.
September 23 (2024) I already described my negative experience with Radical Storage (prepaid locker did not exist). Although in a first response Radical Storage offered help to get refund, it never materialized (separate mails with details to Radical Storage were never responded to). As said, I notified the police who did start a criminal investigation. Today I received their response: The official contact person at Radical Storage located in Italy uses a free-mail account (where the identity of the owner will not be checked). The Hamburg public prosecutor's office will follow up on any further leads. After I posted my experiences here and encouraged victims of fraud by Radical Storage to file a complaint with the police, Radical Storage payed reimbursement within a few days and flagged my post at Trustpilot as "defamatory". Therefore I am no longer sure who was fraudulent: Either Radical Storage committed an attempt of fraud or Radical Storage themselves have been also a victim of fraud. But that fraud did happen is a fact and my description of the events is correct.Trustpilot receives full 5 points by me because the combination of Trustpilot and the Hamburg public prosecutor's office helped to solve the issue. It was my last day of holiday with my partner and we needed storage for our bags. I booked one that was supposedly in a hotel (that’s what the listing claimed at least) in the hope that the place is reputable and safe. However whilst hauling our bags to the given location instead of a hotel it was a phone repair shop called ‘lanzoo telecom’. The phone repair shop didn’t exist at the given address. I proceeded to look up the name of the shop on Google maps for it to supposedly be on the other end of the road. Again the shop didn’t exist at all - we even checked and asked locals. In the end money was spent but we had nowhere to store our bags and we were basically scammed. Super untrustworthy service which clearly doesn’t verify the storage providers so your belongings might not be in safe hands as you might expect. A non existent phone repair shop claiming to be a hotel on the listing is ridiculous. Still waiting to receive any refund. Should have never used the service.
