Signed up to check bags at a restaurant in Paris. We showed them our barcode. They handed us tags and asked us leave bags near the exit. Fully exposed to any passerby to take without anyone noticing. We came back to get our bags. The same person asked to scan our ticket. This is when we learned that our bags had NEVER been properly checked in. They checked in and checked out our bags at the same time. They did this to EVERYONE left their bags. We learned that they are intentional to do this. Once you book you can't cancel. They advertise 24 hour support. It's not 24 hour support. Should have a facility to cancel the booking on the app. People don't have a local knowledge of the country you are in. Tried to re book me in a city the other side of the country
Dropping off and picking up our luggage was easy, but when I collected my luggage it was covered in beer. The bags had been kept in a stock room at a Newsagents, and someone had clearly spilled beer over the luggage which smelt awful. This was at the 'Global News' site in Edinburgh.
First thing there are no lockers, just a dirty room upstairs a store where everyone dropped the luggage, nobody checked if we took the right luggage or messed with the others. Luckily no incidents, but was not what we expected and never use it again
I use radicalstorage during my holidays this month in Avignon (france). we choose a restaurant in the historical district but we found out they did not have any separate room to store the luggages, just a corner next to the bar so all the customers pass by to go to the restroom. We did not feel confortable but we left 4 luggages anyway. the boss was not there and his employees did not known the procedure therefore no check-in was done. When we got back the check-in and check-out were done at the same time but the boss made a mistake and bill 5 luggages instead of 4. Later when I realize that radical storage bills me much more that they were supposed to, they said refund was not possible but they could give me a voucher for a next order.Therefore on my way back, I book with another local luggage storage which charge 13 euros instead of 33 euros for 4 luggages.This is unfortunaly my experience with Radical storage.
We booked this facility online to store 13 pieces of luggage while we walked around the city waiting to check into the airport. We walked from the ferry dock. Once arriving at the address given online, we realized that it is not an actual locker system as we expected; it is in fact a restaurant/bar. Despite this confusion, the owner/manager took all our luggage and stored it in a back room (although we never saw where it was taken). All of our luggage was accounted for when we returned many hours later. The manager was very accommodating, he allowed us to use the restrooms and even helped with getting a taxi for us to the airport.
