Valentine's Day my husband and I visited the Raymour & Flanigan location in Newark, DE. I just wanted to look around; we really weren't looking to buy anything that day! Dan Ventura, consultant, greeted us and was so VERY pleasant! He did not follow us immediately but directed us and was available if we needed him. Well, it just so happened that we decided to look at recliners. He was so very helpful! Dan spoke to us with pleasantness, knowledge and answered all of our questions! He then said, "I think I have a recliner that would be perfect for you." It sure was and we made the decision to make a purchase! I believe it was due to his knowledge, helpfulness, the ease we felt working with him! I know that if we need further furniture, we will visit Dan again! Thanks Dan!! Raymour & Flanigan is blessed to have you! I will definitely highly recommend him!!
We had an emergency with an older adult whose lift chair motor died and DANNY of R&F came through!!! He was able to locate a chair and get it delivered within 24 hours. He was friendly, helpful, service oriented simply amazing! Thank you Danny for your work that was above and beyond what we expected.
Alexius Rondon made the unpleasant chore of mattress shopping a stress free and comfortable experience. He was most patient, kind, knowledgeable, and honest. He found just the right balance between attentiveness and allowing us the freedom to shop at our own pace and try almost every mattress in the store! Alex listened to our priorities and steered us in the right direction. We are excited to get our new mattress tomorrow. If you need a mattress-ask for Alex!
We had a great shopping experience with Quentin Brooks. We were looking for 2 specific chairs and he rounded them up for us and gave us lots of time to try them and decide.

I went to the store seeking one item and met with Tamia Sams. She was very helpful, however the item I was seeking was not available. Ms. Sams then talked me into testing one of the mattress and wow; what a feel. I remembered the feeling on the way to my car, the manner in which it felt on my every turn. I had to go back in ask ack more about it; will get one. I must say she is a great salesperson, friendly personality great customer service with a smile; better than most.
Had a great experience the second we walked in and was greeted by Kaylee Perry. She directed us in the right direction and helped us with everything that we needed for our new furniture. She was amazing with great customer care and service. Highly recommend her for all your furniture needs.
DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING ONLINE FROM RAYMOUR AND FLANIGAN. I am having a terrible experience with a delivery I placed. I ordered 2 pieces of furniture. Both were supposed to be delivered on the same day. Only 1 came. Only explanation from the driver was that there was only 1 piece in the warehouse. No one ever said item was out of stock. Tried calling numerous time and left voicemails. No return call. Finally got thru to 1 person. Delivery was scheduled AGAIN, received an email the night before with a window, and no delivery arrived. Tried calling again, numerous times, just cannot get thru on customer service number. No one answers. The furniture item in question has been paid for and is currently in limbo. Ended up in a computer chat and again delivery was scheduled but I do not trust this information. This is terrible customer service and I will never order online from them again. Now I just want to get my $ back. May end up getting the credit card company involved.
I had a fantastic experience working with James throughout my furniture shopping experience. He was incredibly helpful from start to finish and made a stressful process feel easy. Even when unexpected issues came up, he managed them quickly and with genuine care. I’m truly grateful for his help and highly recommend working with him if you want seamless, stress free furniture buying experience.
The service initially impresses with a welcoming approach, showcasing their technology and assisting with measurements to create a seamless experience—until the payment stage. After that, everything goes downhill. The furniture was delayed, communication was chaotic, and I was asked to be available early on a Sunday for delivery, only for it to not go as planned. At one point, they owed me money, but getting that resolved became a nightmare due to their system issues. Instead of receiving clear answers, I was redirected to various corporate contacts when simple communication would have sufficed. What should have been straightforward turned into a frustrating three-month ordeal just to secure a refund. I invested a significant amount here, and the lack of accountability, poor logistics, and unsatisfactory customer service guarantee that I won’t return. Goodbye, service. Not coming back.
I was greeted by a fantastic representative who helped me discover exactly what I needed, which was a leather sofa with automated recliners. We explored various options until he found the perfect match for me. He made the purchasing, financing, and delivery processes incredibly smooth. I highly recommend seeking his help if you visit the store.
