Stay far away from this company, the positive reviews are lies, as are the promises of customer support below the negative reviews! They will take pictures of other people's items that are damaged to try to lower the price that they pay out to you.I sent two products to them: a Nintendo Switch and a high-end phone.The Nintendo Switch had a screen protector on it from day 1, and was only used a handful of times since I originally got it. It spent most of its time in a padded carry case. The screen protector was removed per Rebuy's request before I sent it, and it was completely scratch free and dust free. The Switch was in absolute pristine as-new condition. Today I received a message with a counter offer because my Switch was supposedly damaged. They sent along three pictures of a completely different Switch that looked as if it had been dropped onto the sidewalk, and spent most of its time under some kid's bed collecting dust.I replied that this wasn't my Switch and that I want the price originally quoted. I have pictures of the undamaged screen and the serial number. However, I know that when they inevitably send it back, they will send me this damaged Switch and keep my pristine one.They received my phone sooner than the Switch, but they "need more time" to check it. It's a pretty rare configuration which I doubt they have more in stock of, so it must be hard for them to find a different one that is damaged to take pictures of. The phone was also pristine, with zero scratches on the screen and housing, but I'm sure they'll somehow fabricate evidence to show it's "damaged".Good luck getting support, as their support E-mail address has auto-reply turned on and responds back that rebuy cannot be reached on that E-mail address. It's a joke.If I do not get what was offered and what I rightfully should receive I will make complaints with the ECC and the ODR of the European commission.
Avoid this company at all times!!This company takes no responsibility at all for things getting lost during shipping. If it's to them or from them it makes no difference! They'll claim to have send it to you but I even wonder about that. With that, i know of more cases with the same complaints about their "as good as new" phones, having weird issues. It always has weird defects and when it seems like it's good customer service that you can send you phone for check up they can never find something and your phone will somehow not make it back to you.I had Legal Aid take over the case but they won't reply them either and they'll hide behind DHL (which is also a seedy company saying that they delivered it when they clearly didn't! The fact that you won't send a phone of over €500 with a trusted mail company and also without having to sign for delivery maybe says enough about this shady company. Under the pretence of being all green because of the re-use of electronics it's such a shame that they're so untrustworthy.
Earphones were delivered swiftly and in good condition. However, the original soft-foam tips were replaced with standard rubber ones. In this case, the foam tips allow for a better seal and thus the replacements resulted in a lower performance.Edit: After reading the response of reBuy I want to clarify that the replacement of the tips wasn't the problem, but the fact that they were of a different type (simple rubber tips vs soft-foam tips). There are also third party versions (Eardopes) of these foam tips which would have been a better replacement in my opinion.
