Review Time
Refundable.me is a complete scamI paid for a refundable ticket that could not be used because of a cancer diagnosis. Any reasonable person would think this situation clearly qualifies for a refund. Instead Refundable.me refused my claim because the ticket was not in my name, even though it was purchased with my credit card. This policy is absurd. Most business and even personal travel is not paid for directly by the person travelling. Companies, partners, or family members often purchase tickets on behalf of others. To deny a refund on this basis is dishonest, predatory, and completely inaccessible.Refundable.me sells the illusion of security and compassion, but in reality it is nothing more than a trap designed to take people’s money. It punishes customers during the most difficult moments of their lives and hides behind fine print and technicalities. There is nothing fair, transparent, or decent about this company. Avoid it at all costs.
I signed up for a Spartan Race on April 5–6, 2025, but couldn’t attend due to being activated for Emergency State Active Duty with the National Guard. Despite providing Refundable.me with an official letter from my Commander, they denied my refund because the letter didn’t include an “end date.” I find this unreasonable given the circumstances. Their process feels more like a barrier than a benefit. Disappointed in how little flexibility they offer for genuine emergencies.
