ABSOLUTE LACK OF CUSTOMER 'SERVICE' - DELIBERATE OBSCURATION/INCOMPETENCE - IT'S A SCAM! I paid a significant amount for two flights. I am pregnant and was supposed to travel with my young child. Unfortunately, I experienced severe health issues leading up to the flight. I collected multiple doctor's notes confirming I was UNFIT TO FLY. Despite providing all necessary documentation, I was met with ridiculous inquiries unrelated to my situation. Just two days before my flight, I received an email stating my doctor's note lacked detail. Even after offering my doctor's contact information for verification, my refund request was denied! I was told I misunderstood their policy regarding refunds. I am extremely stressed, unwell, and now financially strained. This has been the worst experience with any company I have encountered. I feel utterly distraught.

UTTERLY DISAPPOINTING CUSTOMER SUPPORT - CLEAR LACK OF COMPETENCE - IT FEELS LIKE A SCAM! PLEASE AVOID! I spent £1300 on two flights from a city to another country. Being six months pregnant and traveling with my three-year-old, I started experiencing severe lower pains a week before the flight, leaving me bedridden at times. I obtained three separate doctor’s notes stating I was UNFIT TO FLY, along with numerous appointments as proof. Instead of addressing my situation, I was asked irrelevant questions, like those regarding car hire in the destination country. I explained my situation, supported by all necessary documentation, only to receive an email two days before the flight claiming my note lacked detail. I even provided my doctor’s contact information, and she was willing to speak with them directly. Yet, my refund was completely denied! One email even mentioned, 'sorry you have misunderstood our policy... we don’t just refund for any reason.' My reason aligned with their policy and was substantiated with evidence. I am incredibly stressed, unwell, heavily pregnant, and now facing financial strain.
This has been the worst experience I've ever had with a service provider. I am genuinely distraught.

Frustrated with the cancellation process

I had to cancel my travel plans due to an emergency with my elderly dog. I was set to fly out on December 24th and return January 7th, spending over $700 on the round trip. My cancellation request was denied within hours, citing it as a foreseeable event. My dog's sudden health issue was unexpected, and the service showed little empathy. Despite purchasing cancellation protection, it felt like they were looking for reasons to deny my refund. I had hoped to spend the holidays with my family after a long time apart, and now I feel financially burdened instead. Wishing them happy holidays, as it seems they have profited from my situation.

Avoid this service; it's a scam

Their refund policy is terrible, encouraging unreasonable behavior that doesn’t account for real-life situations, particularly regarding health issues. They show no flexibility for customers who may be unable to provide documentation due to illness. This rigid policy only serves to frustrate and dishearten consumers, making it impossible to receive a fair resolution.

Refund process was quick, but intrusive experience

While the refund process was impressively fast, the intrusive nature of the questions was concerning. I had to provide detailed information about my wife's health issues after her hospital admission, which felt excessive. The multiple forms and uploads seemed designed to deter refunds, creating a frustrating experience. On the positive side, the refund appeared in our bank account within 15 minutes, including the premium for refundable tickets. However, treating customers with suspicion is not ideal. This service has great potential, but I hope they can improve the user experience and approach to sensitive situations.

Taken advantage of by dishonest practices

Their cancellation protection seems to be a ploy to keep your money, not to support customers. I paid for this protection, thinking it would provide peace of mind, but it seems they look for any excuse not to refund. I was looking forward to spending the holidays with my family after such a long time, and now I feel I’ve lost that opportunity. This is truly disappointing.

This is a scam

I purchased refundable tickets, but they refuse to refund even with a doctor's note. They require overly specific details about my illness and why I can't attend, which most medical certificates don’t provide. Their questioning feels invalidating. When I expressed my concerns, they offered a half refund, which also felt inappropriate. Don't waste your money on refundable tickets; they aren’t refundable at all.
