Pregnancy complications but no refund

I found out I was pregnant and by that time had already purchased my ticket. I emailed them advising it wasn’t recommended by my doctor to fly out during the later stages of my pregnancy and on top of that too have been diagnosed with a health condition which would pose a threat to my baby’s life. I have provided 3 seperate medical certs all specifying what my doctor has said and this is what keep asking for more and more things. As a pregnant woman who previously lost their child to a miscarriage, I shouldn’t need to have to explain my whole medical history to be able to get a refund for tickets I paid extra for to be eligible for a refund. This is what I get in response: “I have already outlined the reasons why your application does not meet the criteria under our Terms of Service multiple times. As we have provided the service you purchased and agreed to, unfortunately, this outcome is final. If we receive the updated note with details as requested earlier, then we will reopen the application and proceed further, or alternatively, please let me know if you would like to accept the cancellation fee back, and I will ensure this is processed ASAP. You can then directly cancel the booking from Aunt Betty as explained earlier too. This applictaion is currently on hold.Regards.MaryCX Supervisor”Scam of a company. Disgusting people. I hope none of them are ever out in a situation like this.

I have a marathon in April next year

I have a marathon in April next year, my girlfriend has recently become pregnant so I have requested a refund, provided the adequate documents to show she is pregnant! However no refund provided despite on their terms and conditions, any reason for refund must not have been foreseeable at the time of booking! The point of paying for the ability to get a refund from events you are unable to attend is a disgrace! Will not be selecting that option again as feels a scam!

Relocation for Work is a fraud

I book the ticket 6 months in advance and buy this extended refund terms to protect me from any unforeseen circumstances. I was having work visa for 5 years in UK. For a holiday i book ticket to india. But since i am on visa, my current employer can anytime end the deuptation so they did that in 3.5 years which was unexpected but they have rights to do. Refund team rejected the application saying they do not refund in case of temporary allocation. I mean what rubbish is this. This mean this term ks not applicable for people who works on a long term visa and only applicable for people who have citizenship of UK. I am not sure if anybody have the citizenship of UK why their employer will relocate to any other country and why they will go to india. People who are on work visa can only book their ticket to their home country. This policy is completely fraud, i informed 3 months before the travel date still not get any refund. Please never buy this refundable terms.

REFUNDABLE.ME SUCKS

Purchased tickets to an event that I really want it to go with my wife and unfortunately my mother is sick with cancer and was admitted at the hospital day later i made the purchase, I reached out to HEIDI and MARY to this matter and ask for a letter from the hospital I sent it then she said that the letter from the hospital could be a fake and to send another when she got it ask for another one and I sent it and then ask for another one…so easy to say that she was just trying to getting me tired from all this process, so after 5 days of back and forth with this person I explained to her that my mother is now in her finals stage of the cancer (she is dying) and just emailed me that she is going just to give me partial (1/3) reimbursement from my purchased. What an heartless person, so now that I’m writing this email I m reading others reviews I just figure out who I’m dealing with… feeling real frustrated about all this, it had never happened before but it gives a lesson to not buy from unrecognizable companies such as TICKERI…stick to the big companies!!

Buyer Beware

Very difficult, if not virtually impossible, to access any refunds. They need to be more transparent about their many rules, hurdles and fine print, when trying to actually utilise the service paid for. I wonder what kick-backs companies who use them are getting? They must be worth it as their reviews reflect pretty consistent bad service (Aunt Betty - you’re one of them!)

REFUNDABLE.ME is a legal scam/concert/event insurance company that will do anything but refund you.

REFUNDABLE.ME is a concert/event insurance company that will do anything but refund you. I purchased tickets to a concert and had an unexpected medical issue that prevented me from attending. Prior to the event I requested a refund. They repeatedly rejected my application and requested medical information I am not legally obligated to provide. In addition to that, they requested the original email confirmation for the tickets. I provided it in JPEG and PDF file formats and just kept asking over and over. They use AI for responses and came off as downright aggressive and predatory. Save your money and save your friends and loved one grief and hassle, avoid this company at all costs. They will do everything they can to keep your money.

If I could give no stars I would

If I could give no stars I would. I would also strongly advise anyone to avoid this company’s ticket insurance. It is nothing more than an expensive illusion of protection.I booked train tickets and realised within minutes that I had made an error I had booked the stanstead express but was flying into Heathrow airport. I immediately filed a claim, they declined my claim within five minutes of me purchasing the tickets. The reason? They have a drop-down menu option for “tickets bought in error,” which seems designed purely to fast-track rejections. This means they took my money for the tickets and kept the insurance premium, without providing any meaningful protection. Nowhere on their website is it made clear that such a common and honest mistake would not be covered. In my opinion, this is misleading and underhand. If you think this “insurance” will cover genuine mistakes, think again. In my experience, it exists only to collect fees and deny claims at lightning speed. I will be contacting the Ombudsman and making others aware of this underhand practice. In a nutshell AVOID REFUNDABLE.ME.

Forced to provide death certificate

In January, I purchased a ticket for the Big Half half marathon via Let’s Do This, which takes place in September. As it was so far in advance, I paid extra for a refundable registration, as I didn’t know if I would get injured or have something else come up stopping me from participating. The Big Half is sold out and London Marathon Events no longer use refundable.me for their refunds (presumably because of such poor feedback) so I can no longer see exactly how this was framed, but looking at their other events, the headline is that you can “Upgrade your registration and receive a full refund rapidly.”Then, closer to the event, my grandmother passed away. Given that I had paid for a refundable place, I expected this to be easily arranged; her memorial service is on the day of the half marathon, so I obviously can no longer compete. However, it transpires that I must provide her death certificate and proof of our relationship in order to obtain a refund. Providing proof of relationship to a grandmother seems unnecessarily complicated and to require sharing excessive personal data, but it is the sharing of the death certificate which I am especially angry about. My grandmother took her own life, so her death is with the coroner, which is expected to take months, and I therefore cannot provide a death certificate at this point. This is obviously a distressing time, and I hoped it would be easy to understand why an exception was needed here. Yet when I reached out to refundable.me to explain that I could not provide a death certificate, I was told that “in accordance with the terms agreed upon at the time of purchase, we are required to request the same documentation from all customers in order to process a refund, regardless of the circumstances.” It is obviously true that I did not read the Terms and Conditions in full, but I believe that purchasing a refundable add-on implies that it would be possible to obtain a refund easily, when this is not the case. The ASA requires that any significant limitations or qualifications to claims like “refundable” need to be clear, prominent, and upfront in the booking flow, with the CAP Code 3.3 stating that “Marketing communications must not mislead by omitting significant limitations and qualifications. Qualifications may clarify but must not mislead by contradicting the claims that they qualify.” It is my belief that I have been misled in agreeing to these Terms. This combination of deliberate ambiguity and a refusal to understand my distressing circumstances leaves me extremely unhappy with my experience of refundable.me. I will certainly never be purchasing cover via them again.

Horrible communication

I am trying to get a refund for 3 separate events, all of which apparently use Refundable.Me. They requested a letter from my previous employer confirming I was laid off and other information, which I provided. My requests seem to be getting mixed up in their system. This is extremely frustrating, and I cannot figure out how to get a hold of anyone. SOMEONE, PLEASE CONTACT ME AND HELP ME WITH MY REFUNDS.
