Terrible to deal with. Another business happy to take your money, but try and make a claim and they

Terrible to deal with. Another business happy to take your money, but try and make a claim and they drag it out. 10 weeks after the death of my father and they still haven't paid. Continued long delays between emails that request further information. Useless.

As an adviser, I’ve found Resolution Life very difficult to deal with on an Income Protection claim.

As an adviser, I’ve found Resolution Life very difficult to deal with on an Income Protection claim. Promised timeframes are routinely missed, responses can take weeks, and the process has been highly distressing for the insured. In our case, benefits have not been paid for roughly 8 months despite the claim running for years. I’m also concerned that specialist psychological evidence appears to be discounted versus GP notes. Overall: poor communication and unacceptable delays. The GP wrote in his report I assumed the insured has returned to work because the insured has not seen me for 8 weeks. The insured was getting help from his Psychologist evry month. The GP perhaps could ave asked the Psychologist for an update before writting he assumed.

Don't want to pay the $$$ you're owed.

My DH died at the start of June, 2025. Every inquiry I make (including the forms I filled out) receive the bot answer: "Thank you for contacting us. We're currently experiencing a high volume of requests. We'll update you when your request has been processed." I can never reach an actual person. I'd like to give half a star only because they're so good at taking & keeping DH's money. My first contact was back in June and my most recent is the date below.

Very, very difficult to cancel a policy

Resolution Life are making it very, very difficult to cancel a policy, and thereby stop payments to them. After multiple attempts to cancel a policy, all I have received are AI written automated responses giving no actual specific reason why they haven't accepted the application to cancel . Upon speaking to them directly, they assured me the policy , and payments had been cancelled. It appears that is not actually the case, and all they have done is change my payment schedule.

I have been getting the run around when…

I have been getting the run around when trying to get my money out for the past 4 months. First the say they want a birth certificate and proof of ID with my current address (USA), then it's 'we want these two docs', once I supply those it's another two docs. All of this at $70USD a time. Now they want a photo id. One of the docs I originally sent was a photo id. Enough is enough. Never so business with this company, especially if you plan moving out of Australia.

Stupid obstacles every step of the way

I was going to give 2 stars because at the very least they were nice on the phone... but then kept trying to get me to do the phone survey afterwards which was pointless because it's obviously not improving customer outcomes. Website won't let me make a profile to view the policy. They got my birthdate wrong which meant an extra day of errands to correct their typo. Just feels like every step so far has a few added hoops on fire to jump through for no damn reason.Update: i emailed them about not being able to complete the online account the same day i made this review. i tried again a few days later and it finally worked. then they called me a week later regarding the email. if i could give a half star, i would.

Funds returned to Resolition Life failed to provide bank for deposit of the fundswith paperwork

Funds returned as they failed to provide paperwork to bank overseas and as such the funds had to be returned as regarded as money laundering. Failed to provided despite repeated request to provide a direct contact for the overseas bank and me the claimant a direct contact. Causing unwarranted stress in delayed responses to followup and requests for information. Still not resolved. Ongoing issue and fund still to be received. Recommend given the extreme poor work practices of Resolution Life potential clients find a better service. A pity a score of 1 to 5 stars is required as they deserve none. It appears that legal action may need to occur

Bad experience

Seems lm having same issues as many others here. My super was transferred to Resolution life from AIA ( who were great). My super isn’t ready to be paid for about 3 years but the information on the portal is all over the place. I can’t correctly update my address despite saving and redoing ( over and over again). I live in the UK now but have 12 years worth of superannuation earnt while working as a nurse/ midwife in Australia sitting there. God help me trying to claim it. Seriously thinking of rolling it over to a reliable company as l really have no confidence in Resolution lifeHas anyone managed to do this?
