I loved my dress when I received it and first tried it on, but I then gently hand washed it and hung it to dry and it shrunk drastically, I contacted restyle, sent them loads of photos as evidence and now they are ignoring me. The dress was expensive and the customer service is terrible.

⚠️Caution: The quality control and customer service of this company are highly unprofessional. Despite being a loyal customer for years, my experience with a recent product was completely unacceptable. I made a purchase on 28/11–23 (received on 8/12-23). After 9-10 months, I noticed the product had detached elements and cracks in the crotch area. I promptly reported this with photos, requesting a replacement. However, they only offered a 50% refund, claiming that since the purchase was over a year ago, a full refund was not possible because the issue wasn’t present at the time of purchase. They also stated that exchanges weren't allowed.
This reasoning is flawed, as the damage clearly resulted from manufacturing defects. Furthermore, EU consumers are entitled to demand a replacement product. The item continued to deteriorate, and by May 2025, the crotch was completely torn, with cracks spreading up to the waist area. I had a large hole with torn fabric hanging loose and additional holes unrelated to seams. The product became unusable and was ruined beyond repair.
Note: The size I ordered was larger than my usual size. On 30/11-25, I submitted a new complaint with detailed photos of the damage, seeking a replacement. Given the multiple failures and this being my second complaint, I believed compensation was warranted. Yet, they denied my request, arguing that the purchase was “over 2 years old,” which is incorrect:
Under EU consumer law, the 2-year warranty begins from the delivery date, not the order date: "The 2-year legal guarantee period starts on the day you receive the product, whether you take it immediately from a physical shop or have it delivered."

I also want to emphasize that I ordered the correct size (XXL), which was larger than my usual leggings size, ensuring they were not overly tight. Note: If leggings are made from fabric with limited stretch, seams must be reinforced, and the material should be strong enough for normal movement. The appearance of holes beyond the seams strongly suggests a manufacturing defect, rather than misuse.
I have encountered similar issues with other products, where materials failed after minimal use. This company has ignored its responsibility for these defects, which they are obligated to address. Such disregard is unacceptable. The quality feels more akin to cheap imitations, leaving me feeling cheated. It’s disheartening that a brand I once trusted for quality would allow such defects, avoid accountability, and dismiss loyal customers with excuses and arrogance. Product quality, durability, and proper customer care should be fundamental. Either the customer service lacks understanding of EU consumer rights, or there is a deliberate attempt to mislead customers regarding replacements and warranty details.
I hope the denial of my warranty claim was a mistake. I genuinely appreciate their unique designs, but after this experience, I am hesitant to support the brand again unless I see genuine efforts to resolve my complaint responsibly. I plan to follow up with another email after posting this review. If I do not see satisfactory efforts to address my concerns, I will consider escalating this to consumer protection authorities. I hope my review can help others avoid similar poor treatment in the future. As a well-known name in alternative fashion, they should value their loyal customer base and not take them for granted.

They only offered a 50% refund, citing the purchase date, which is incorrect. The damage clearly stems from manufacturing defects, and EU law supports my right to a replacement. By May 2025, the garment was completely torn, with holes forming unrelated to seams. I filed another complaint with documentation of the damage, but they denied my request, claiming the purchase was over 2 years old, which is false. The warranty begins upon delivery. This level of negligence is unacceptable, and I feel misled by a brand I once trusted. I hope my complaint leads to improvements in their service.

Excessive markup for poor quality!

I purchased leggings for my partner as a Christmas gift, only to face a hefty customs fee of nearly £90. Upon opening the package, I noticed the print was uneven, with one leg's pattern appearing brighter and thicker than the other. Additionally, the fabric was already cracking and peeling at the fold lines—just from being folded and shipped! After submitting a complaint, they requested I return the items at my own expense! It's outrageous! I've provided photos of the defects, yet they insist on having them back to confirm the issues. I’m willing to send them back, but they should cover the return shipping! I've already spent over £100 on shipping and fees alone! To top it off, they shipped it in the original factory bag, resembling cheap items you'd find shipped from an overseas market, yet they're charging £34 plus additional shipping and customs. It's appalling, the quality is terrible, and their return policy is ridiculous.

Mixed feelings.

I love the designs, but as an international customer, there are a few things to consider. The 'XL' leggings are not true to size; they felt more like a Small. I sized up, and it still wasn't enough. The leggings had no elasticity, risking seam tears. The dress I ordered was also too short and tight, though I could fit into it with some effort, again lacking stretch. Thankfully, it had a zipper. I also bought platform boots, and within a month, the sole started peeling off. They are adorable, so I'll keep them, but now I have to take them to a shoe repair shop to fix them, adding to my expenses.

I bought another round witchy bag with black embroidery after my previous one served me well for years. I love your designs, though many of the embroidered bags are too colorful for my taste, so I chose what I already knew. Best of luck in the future!
