I bought two items, one of them fit great and looked great and the other one was just a little bit too small. Their customer service was helpful in getting me a replacement in the next size up for the item that did not fit me. The clothes seem to be good quality and I am excited to wear them out. Shout out to Yomi who helped me in customer service!
This was my first purchase at Retro Stage and I am so pleased! I bought a jumpsuit and long black gloves that I will wear with the pre-sale jacket that should arrive around Thanksgiving. The jumpsuit fits perfectly, except for the length, but I took it to my favorite seamstress to slightly shorten it! My seamstress even complimented how pretty the jumpsuit is! I will wear the 1930s-era outfit this Christmas at a Hearst Castle function! Also, I received the first part of my order quickly! So far everything has gone smoothly and I can hardly wait for the last item!
I LOVE scrolling through all the wonderful dresses and shoes! I purchased 2 green velvet dresses with a hat and some nude pumps. They are so beautiful on! I have also purchased a blue dress with blue pumps for a spring wedding we are going to. I have 2 more dresses and a pair of pumps in my shopping cart lol. Let me tell y'all that EVERYONE looks and looks and looks. Men tip their hats, shake your hand gently and call you ma'am. I had a question about my one pair of heels and customer service was quick and very polite. I've shopped around at other vintage shops and they are 3 times more expensive, not enough styles, and poorly made. I'll be a Retro girl for life!PS. My husband was so proud to have me on his arm ;)
I placed an order in November for Christmas outfits, Delivery took weeks, the items were shipped separately after receiving the first 2 items they did not work, I asked to exchange them in hopes I would receive in time for the Holiday. I was told via email to wait until I rcvd my complete order. So of course other items did not deliver until after Christmas in the meantime I did ask again if I could return the item to exchange everytime being told to wait. The last 2 items do show as delivered however I live in a complex and fear my packages were stolen. I asked the company to resend the items or refund. After shipping back all other items rcvd. They also do not cover the shipping cost to return items. I have a thread of 42 emails finally I was told they will refund half of the cost of the missing items or they will reship but I would have to pay for the shipping. I opted for atleast the refund of half just to be done. I have asked for a manager several times. The last email I received was basically a repeat of previous and not honoring the offer to refund. Now they will not reply to email and trying to call I only get a voicemail. Worst customer service ever. I work for an ecommerce company and we would never treat our customers this way. Shipping time frame is not as they say takes so much longer.
The outfits are of the best quality for an average price, I really loved the beagle juice outfit I put together from this site! It was super cute and the perfect fit! I use a small but I chose a medium and it fit just comfortably. Yomi provided the best customer service when I needed to make an exchange on another outfit!
I ordered a jumpsuit from retro stage. Shipping took a bit but that was expected. It fit perfect and the material was great. I got lots of compliments when I wore it out too. I have not had to contact customer service, so not sure how they are. I would order from them again.
All my communications with Retro Stage are answered on a timely manner. Yomi did an excellent job resolving an issue we had with sizing. I am a repeat customer, along with my teenager daughter, and we look forward to many more fashionable purchases made through Retro!
