Review Time
Ordered a dress and a cloak. They told me the dress was out of stock and to replace the item. The cloak never arrived - I think it got stolen at delivery. I filed reports for my missing mail and told Retro Stage what happened and they did not care. The cloak was $45, out the window.
I bought two dresses for my mothers 60th birthday party, so I emailed customer service just to make sure that I would receive them before the event. Sammy explained to me that one of the dresses was out of stock so it wouldn't be delivered before the event, so I asked to exchange it for another dress and customer service was so quick to help me out. Will definitely buy from them again. Thank you!
Placed an order I have the order number, but everytime I try to reach someone I get offers from dish, life alert stupid thing I have no need for. When I used the chat box it says they are unavailable even though PST time is only 2 hours behind us.
This place is hit or miss. Truly more hits than misses though. I have purchased five dresses, only one was poorly cut, the others have been either great or fixable. I got a crinoline that was surprisingly expensive for how lacklustre it is. Barely any poof at all. The picture shows a practically square-dancing amount of poof and I got something that looks like a dollar store costume.I get heaps of compliments on the dresses though. Depending on the dress they could be great or medium quality, but something I don't mind wearing to work, so if it gets wrecked, I'm not in tears. And I truly do look fabulous. I'll keep cruising vintage stores for the undergarments, but I'll likely be back for more dresses as the 50's take over my wardrobe.
Suit didn’t fit - when I asked to return, they offered several options like $10 refund plus a discount. I insisted on returning for a full refund (as their website states you can). I paid an additional $7 to send the item back, with tracking. The tracking number states that the address can’t be accessed for delivery!! I used the exact address they provided. What a scam. No refund, PLUS additional time and money to ship back. I contested the charge with my credit card company. Do not buy from them!!
