Review Time
I ordered (2) Dresses i got them in 2-3 weeks not to bad on the time frame, Dresses were good quality however a bit too small, Yomi was wonderful and helped me resolve my issue. I have also ordered bathing suits from this company and they were wonderful.
The dress I ordered came quickly and was high quality and looked even better than the photos online. I was surprised since the price was so reasonable. And an added bonus was the help I received from customer service - Yomi helped me with my exchange for a different size without any hassle. At all the way Around
I didn't expect much for the price and as it was for a Halloween costume I didn't need the quality to be particularly high but, WOW... The dress was not only the worst quality thing I have EVER purchased (shapeless, terrible fabric, badly put together and absolutely nothing like the photo) it was also clearly a previous return (the plastic protective bag it was shipped in was obviously reused and was held together with sticky tape). The dress itself had loose threads and even dirt smudges on the inside of the fabric. I only didn't bother with a return because I've read how problematic they can be with this company and it took so long to reach me (over a month) that I didn't have enough time to buy something else for my costume. Instead I will be altering the dress myself so that it is at least wearable for one night. There were quite a few items that I liked on the website but sadly I will not be buying from them again and I can only be thankful that I didn't waste my money on one of the more expensive dresses.*EDIT* I have adjusted my star rating due to some really excellent customer service. My experience of the dress is still the same but contact with the company and the solution they offered was 1st class and will definitely positively impact the chances that I would purchase from them again. It's really great when a company goes above and beyond and that deserves recognition.
Retro Stage is great! Awesome costumer service, beautiful dresses very well made and nice fabric. I had to contact costumer service for an exchange and Yomi, one of their costumer representatives, attended me. She made the process flawless, without headaches. I highly recommend this company.
