When I purchased my dress, the size was to small. I emailed Retro-Stage they responded quickly to fix my problem. I ask to return/exchange my dress, they were willing to help guide me through the process without hassle! I will definitely be ordering from them again!
Absolutely disgusting companyAnd they discriminate who they give service toPurchased the batwing romper for $37 including postage and handling to Australia on October 28After three weeks of asking why is it still on ordered when it should almost be sent they sent me messages saying they didn’t even have it in stock and they were restocking before they sent it so it would be a further 3 to 15 daysAnd then they told me that I didn’t actually have an order in the end because apparently she couldn’t find itHow come these people sell stuff if they don’t even have it in stock? It’s disgusting.And when I look at the reviews, they choose who they send it to with good customer service and who they don’tAnd from what I see, it’s shit quality anywayI think I’m gonna stick with Australian Gothic brands.. at least local onesAnd I’m also gonna stick with other brands like berserk and DisturbiaBecause these guys don’t even shouldn’t even get one star let alone anything
The items came quicker than expected and they look great. One dress I ordered was slightly smaller than expected, but Retro-Stage has been great about making sure I can get the item in a larger size. Yomi (customer rep) has been very patient with me while I've been delayed in responding to their messages. I would gladly purchase from Retro-Stage again.
23 days today since I made my purchase. Emailed customer service after waiting 16 days to ship. Received an email back stating my items were out of stock, but should be restocked that week. I don’t believe that, only because when I tried to order a different color first, it wouldn’t let me because it was out of stock. My friend whom ordered the exact same item as I, on the same day, received her tracking number. I gave them 2 stars because I did get an email response. I’ll update if I ever get the items ordered or not. Update as of 11/19/25: I was informed They do have 1 of my items in stock & will send it asap.
I have ordered several things from Retro Stage over the past couple years and I have to say they have been absolutely hitting it out of the park for the past year - the last few items I've gotten have been fantastic!! A strapless metallic emerald green wide-leg jumpsuit fit amazingly amd looked just like the pictures. I also ordered a sassy Halloween dress with sheer black overlay with metallic purple spiderwebs and it arrived exactly on time - especially in this day & age that is impressive!! And lastly I ordered a short pale pink sequin dress with white pompom fur buttons & fur trim edging & it too fit great & looked adorable. Even the accessories were very nice, and the Santa hat fit! If you are between sizes I suggest you order for the largest part of your body. There is not a huge difference between sizes & it is easier to have a strap shortened or a waist seam taken in than for something to be too tight. I order for my hip which is a full size larger than my waist and am always happy with the fit. Of course depending on how I want something to look I may have it taken in a teensy bit by the dry cleaner, but usually it is not necessary. Retro Stage has become a fun, easy, and stress-free way to add unique clothes to my wardrobe & I highly recommend!
Quality of the dress material and fit was exceptional. The print was clear and very unique. Colors were honestly as presented on the PC which was a pleasant surprise. Clear and bright! Love the Dress. I accidently ordered a small (I am a small in brick retail) cringed when I realized. Surprise it fits perfect!!!! love the dress and so do others when we dance!
I made a order from this company, and it states that this is in the USA, but alt the produkts is from China. I think that the quality of the shoes and the dress I ordered would be better if I ordered the items from Temu. Do not order anything form this company, the quality is poor and the customer service is lacking service at a high point! There is also no washing instructions on any of the clothes only a tagg that say: made in china. Nothing more. I also asked for a return of the things I payed for, and they won’t pay or help with nothing.. DO NOT ORDER!!
