I purchased my large check-in bag over the holidays. I received it - seemed good quality despite an already present small dent which I chose to ignore.
I put the bag to work immediately. I’m now 3 round trips in, 9 legs total.
The bag is still fully functional but the damage outside is obvious and concerning (I’m not talking about scratches, these are shape changing dents). Majority of the 8 corners are dented in; and two of the edges have been bent in by half an inch or so. But the bag remains fully functional, wheels are in great shape and so are the locks.
Still, having been checked only 3 roundtrips, I was hoping for a sturdier aluminium structure that would withstand the unkind handling of US airlines. I paid the price expecting this bag to last hundreds of trips, so I’m concerned this won’t be the case.
Bought this Rigid trunk case mainly because I needed something that wouldn’t get trashed in the cargo hold of the airplane. The aluminum build is solid—feels heavy-duty without being ridiculous. Seems sturdy so far, latches close tight, no flex when I push on it. Haven’t really loaded it up and beat on it yet, but first impressions are good. Should hold up fine on trips. Happy with it.
I like the trunk Luggage case I got. I used it many times and it is great. Like ANY aluminum case it might have small dent's depending on how the airport handles it during travel. Although the wheels. handle, space all is great. Customer service was very great as well!
Easy to talk to when needed.
I was originally skeptical , based upon reviews. But I ordered four different suitcases and they all came within a 7-10 days. No issues. No problems. Got what I ordered.
Being a brand that I hadn't heard of, I was a bit skeptical, but it turned out to be totally unwarranted. The website was easy to use and even though I purchased over a holiday weekend the extra large trunk suitcase came in under a week. It arrived packaged well and undamaged. While I've yet to travel with it yet, the build quality seems up to par with other, more expensive aluminum suitcases that I've used and it seems like it will hold up well.
Ordered 2.5 months ago still don’t have the suitcases or my refund even though being told multiple times the suitcases should be sent this week then I’ve asked for a refund and 12 days on still no refund. Serious lack of communication and no one even contacted me until I sent an email week 6 it see where cases where after the missed shipping date
Rubbish customer service. I’ve been trying to return a flipping suitcase for over a month now and Ana is rubbish at providing clear instructions. Takes 3 days to reply. Unable to send punctual replies nor make a phone call. Invalid retarded excuses all over. Now DPD sends me emails saying they will collect the suitcase but no clear return instruction from the company such as packaging and return label etc. and when you have a question it takes minimum 3 days to reply. Awful experience.
Riigid suitcases are an absolute joke. Mine cracked after light use, can’t flex at all, and is impossible to pack properly. One small overfill and it either won’t close or feels like it’s about to shatter.
It scratches instantly, looks awful after one trip, and clearly can’t survive normal airline handling. Once the shell cracks, that’s it, straight to landfill.
All style, zero durability. Complete waste of money. Avoid.
I've increased the amount of traveling I'm doing and wanted to purchase rugged, good looking, all-aluminum luggage, without spend what I would spend on a trip. I found all of that with Riigid. I bought a three-piece set in Racer Green and could not be happier. Additionally, their customer service was excellent. Right after purchase, I received an email from two real employees of Riigid, not AI bots, that asked me to contact them if I needed their assistance. Due to severe weather, the carrier couldn't deliver my shipment prior to me traveling out of the country for 10 days. I contacted them and they were able to intercept the shipment and delay in until I returned. A bot would not be able to do that. If you're looking for high-quality, all-aluminum luggage at a fair price, I highly recommend Riigid.
I am satisfied overall with the product and delivery lead time.
My concerns are that the lock feels cheap for the product, and the lock dial is very stiff.
I have a trip to Japan in March, so I plan to use this TRUNK.
