I recently contacted Royal London to access my pension. All persons that I had dialogue with during the process were very friendly and helpful providing a fast and efficient service. A special mention perhaps goes to Sam Nelson for arranging early release of my funds.
Really good customer service from Alison today. Was looking to close down a pension as funds have been used, and I expected to have to jump through hoops to do this.......Alison was very thorough and explained in full implications which I was aware of.She answered any queries I had and these were explained to me fully.Not too long a wait on the phone either, less than 5 mins.
Katarina was very patient even though I had problems with my phone however, once we overcame that issue she was warm, friendly and, most importantly, extremely efficient, guiding me through the process. 10/10 for great service
If you are thinking of using this company think again, it took them a year yes - 12 months for the Northern Ireland annuity office to sort out my pension, the service was so poor I thought it was a conspiracy against me. Hours and hours listening to piped music and when finally answered so I coulp plead my case they would say they are pulling out all the stops to hurry it along.... Take my advice and go elsewher.
Initial enquiry about a product I have with Royal London (after an acceptable phone delay-but be prepared) was sorted and resolved by a very friendly and knowledgeable young man (Harry) who took me through the whole process in a very short time. It was a far better experience than I was expecting and the end result was as discussed and in the time frame quoted.
Called to arrange some changes to my pension pot , although there was a wait to be connected l understand why . Both operators were friendly and informative. Special mention to Katrina who explained everything to me Janet and John style . She spent 30 minutes plus letting me know everything I needed to know and more .Royal London have performed brilliantly over this past year , way above any bank rates at 9% on my plan and they operate in the UK..
