Review Time
I have purchased 3 versions of Audials 2018 2020 2021, neither version works anymore. Same Win 10 computer since first purchased Audials. Tried reinstalling on Win10 not work tried Win11 nada. Emailed support and their response was to purchase upgrade. Now that price has doubled I'm hesitant to buy again only to not have it work in a year or two. Otherwise, good quality sound, I like that you can record in FLAC, UI is a bit complicated...posted 3/11/2026 Last contact with support 11/08/2025
The latest version is a big let down, first the you tube video recording doesn't seem to work anymore, the video upscaling is pure crap no improvement at all. The so called AI audio improvement of my concert recording was worse than the original, also the 2cd one was exactly the same as the original. I wont buy their upgrade this time. Thanks for the reply Audials but you need to get it working first time I should not need to contact support so soon. Instead of rushing product out get it user checked first.
Records video very well with good quality. The only recording option I typically use is to record the screen to allow me to capture the closed captioning (I'm a little deaf). The only thing I can ask for is to add a timer so I can terminate the recording after a specified time. Otherwise it fits my needs very well.
Had a let's say not quite official working version of this for quite some time but recently decided to upgrade to a newer version and bite the bullet and pay for the licence. I knew what I was getting was worth the money and now with the official licenced version it is even better. Such a good way to get new music to keep. Yes I am old school and like to have a copy not stream all the time. I am however having issues with YouTube as I put the link in and it keeps coming up with a list of many songs when I am actually only wanting the one song. Hopefully I can figure this out. (Update worked out how to do it). All in all well worth the money and highly recommend.
I had a working version of Audials, changed desktop computers and was able to reload thanks. However as soon as I launched it, an automatic update limited me to NOW be able to record ONLY 10 min. I asked for support but they just offered me to purchase an upgrade ($75), no thanks! If this is what they do (deactivate/limit existing software) then I will not purchase anything from them again. Disappointed with response as I've purchased many other products from them.
