Cannot access original item photos and description

Immediately after making my purchase, the item and its description have disappeared from the Ruby Lane website. All I can access is the order details page which does not have the original photos and description. Why is this? How can I compare what i receive with the seller's description? Very frustrating. And not making me happy as a buyer. RL replied to this review (see below, but the top of that page only said "Drat, this item is sold, please scroll down to see similar items". no mention of my items' full details being all the way past all that or even on that page. It would be nice if they added that info at the top of the page. I had to scroll down past almost 75 items to get to the bottom of the scroll where my purchased item was. so the first time I did that I gave up after about 24 rows of similar items. This is a rather dumb system in my opinion.

I dont know if its your company, honestly. I think its just Robin Larner who has the most extensive collection of high end antique buttons I've ever seen. Shes honest, knowledgeable and reasonable.

Room for improvement RUBY !

Ruby lane is a good platform,many of the sellers are obliging , but if wishing to send a purchased item to another address in another country as a gift is currently rather cumbersome & could be greatly improved ! Although achievable, if you are persistent, the instructions on how to do this are still currently very vague !

I didn’t like the fact that this website only ships to the USA. Why bother putting a business online and only cater to your home country without allowing the rest of the world. The internet and online shopping is global capitalism.

Seller cancelled my order because she said it had been double sold. What rubbish! Not a trustworthy placeThe seller sent an echeque for the refund so I have not even got my refund yet
