I was unaware that I had been signed up as a VIP member and charged £50 monthly without any prior information. I will need to call during business hours to attempt to close my account, as the only way to cancel is by contacting customer service. This seems like a very effective way for them to keep extracting money from people. Who in their right mind would pay £50 a month for a membership to an underwear brand?
I tried the membership but decided to skip this month (December) on the 3rd, yet my account was still charged on the 6th. I was frustrated because I knew they don't offer refunds, leaving me forced to use the membership credit. I spent three hours trying to cancel via live chat; each time I connected with an agent, the chat would terminate due to a bot. This happened three times, with increasing wait times. I then tried calling, and after another 30 minutes, I finally spoke to someone, but they kept offering me deals to stay, which was very irritating. I just wanted to cancel! After persistent insistence, I managed to cancel. As a 'VIP' member, I was extremely frustrated throughout the process and won't be returning to this place.
Disgraceful “paid membership” that I definitely didn’t sign up to. Was just at home one day and had an email as well as a bank transaction stating I’d been charged £49.95 by this company as I’d joined their rewards membership. Despite going back through their website as a guest and reviewing my order confirmation, this is NOT clearly stated on the website that you’ll be charged unless you “skip”, despite the responses on here saying it’s clearly communicated… it isn’t. No way to manage your membership online, nor get it refunded which is a disgrace. I ended up returning the items I brought anyway as they weren’t that nice when I tried them on, so I definitely don’t want to have credits on an account for products i won’t be buying… shameful.
Absolutely terrible experience. First, after I placed my order and was charged, I noticed that the charge was set as a "recurring". I promptly cancelled that from my online banking app and contacted them using the online chat to complain about. The representative I talked to had no clue what she was doing, trying to claim I opted in for their membership (which requires a recurring payment), which I didn't and then completely disregarding my complaint that what should've been a one time charge was set as recurring. Not even an apology, simply pretending it didn't happen. Is this how you do business? Stealthily set up recurring payments and hope people don't notice when you steal their money?Then to make matter worse, when order arrived it arrived one size smaller than what I ordered. Avoid at all costs.
Difficult to cancel membership - was on live chat function for over an hour and had to ask five times to cancel my membership. Asked for a refund of my membership credits and was told repeatedly they couldn't refund. Had two separate chats and was disconnected - absolutely criminal !!
You’d think the behaviour of this brand was illegal - they advertise one-off offers yet prolong the relationship with the customer without their informed consent. Upon initial purchase, your credit card information is withheld by the brand and they sign you up to a “VIP Membership” without your informed consent. You are then charged £50 monthly - with only a 5 day window to prevent this (this is not communicated properly to the customer). This is genuinely shocking behaviour and incredibly poor client treatment - please do not support the ethics of this brand.
BEWARE. They sheepishly add membership charges when buying stuff online and then keep charging your card £49.50 every month with no notification. No customer service to speak to, AI chat agents that send you round and round. They will save your card details without your consent and take money. Disgusting business model.
