I had been receiving calls from an external company, and I asked why I hadn't been informed about them. Mohammed went above and beyond to ensure he found out who they were, what they wanted. He contacted them and got them to stop contacting me and put me at ease! Human interaction is much better and easier than a bot to solve problems.
Today I attempted to top up ,£50 via the app and after 2 hours the top up still had not been credited.
As we are both pensioners with health issues and on the priority list we are unable, and should not be expected to, have to go outside on our hands and knees in the current inclement weather to physically input a 20 number code.
I have had to get our neighbour to input the recent credit.
Having had the not so smart gas meter installed on 13th January 2026 it has never worked or sent accurate balance to the app. Scottish power also do not issue in-house monitors anymore so we are forced to go out and get an accurate balance. Despite reporting this issue continually we are now informed they cannot get an engineer to repair or replace their faulty equipment and do not have a timescale when one will be available. We have raised numerous official complaints with no reasonable response and my last review I was told contact them via Facebook. Had to inform them I do use social media. Disgusting service
Ive had years of major issues with Scottish Power and its caused me to be in thousands of pounds in debt to them. I have tried since moving into my current house(about 14 years ago)to sort this to be told for around 2 -3 years that 'there was a problem with my accound and they couldnt take payment'! now left me paying back a lot of money as they will not take any responsibilty for the mistakes. On the plus they arent too pushy with the payments I am making and changed my tarrifs a few times succefully bringing the cost of my Gas and Electricity down, hence it's not 1 star review. I am now unable to try and get competative pricing from other companies or solar panels on any scheme due to the outstanding amount.
Pay £9.50 a month for boiler cover, used it for the first time this morning, took the day off work to wait in. Cost £99 for them to say they cant fix it. Absolute scam and waste of money. Cancelling our cover immediately. Do not recommend at all.
I had a very pleasant experience speaking with the gentleman from Scottish Power. He was polite, professional, and very clear in his communication. He explained everything patiently and made sure I fully understood the details.
His manner was respectful and reassuring throughout the call, which made the interaction smooth and stress-free. Overall, a helpful and positive customer service experience.
Worst experience ever. A bunch of scammers they are. They will make the deal sound very sweet but will intentionally hide many hidden fees. These fees were even hidden when I explicitly asked about them when signing up. And what happens when you complain later on? They dont do anything. Just ask you to pay.
It's straightforward to track my usage, understand my bills each time, and determine if I need to modify my payments. I appreciate being able to see my current tariff and compare it with other providers. By managing my time effectively, I can benefit from lower rates, maximizing my budget. I previously switched suppliers but returned because the information here is much more comprehensive.
I had a wonderful conversation with a friendly representative from the company. They were incredibly helpful and consistently go above and beyond to assist. It's a great service that is always there to help. Thank you to everyone involved!
Since relocating on December 19, I've made four calls regarding my closed account, yet I still haven't received the correct refund from the service. I informed them of my move and provided my final meter readings right away, and I was advised not to cancel my direct debit as my refund would arrive within five working days. Unfortunately, I received less than expected and ended up canceling my direct debit on January 15 to avoid a payment on January 17. Now, I've been assured that a cheque for the remaining balance will be sent.
The representative's attention to detail was remarkable, showing genuine care while answering my questions. They explored options to help reduce my bill since I live alone, going above and beyond in their assistance. Truly a valuable asset to the company.
