Review Time
I'm sure the actual clay is nice, but the customer service leaves a sour taste. I had an issue with my delivery where during checkout the delivery address got cut off and was missing the house number. Royal mail obviously marked this as undeliverable and were supposed to return to sender. Two weeks have passed and still no update or refund (I am unsure if this is Royal Mail's fault or Sculpd) and they don't seem to care much about finding out where it is. I explained that after waiting on hold with Royal Mail for an hour they have explained that Sculpd will need to raise a complaint and open an investigation and so could they please refund me. Instead of refunding me, they process a replacement order to the SAME INCORRECT ADDRESS. I have no idea how anyone could think this was a smart solution given the reason why I didn't receive my package, and now I have to spend even more time explaining why I don't want a replacement order (even with the correct address the event this was for is now over two weeks passed) and to process a refund. **EDIT**Since writing the review Sculpd did get back to me, cancel the replacement and issue a refund which was in my bank account immediately surprisingly enough. Raised them 4stars due to the resolution but they deffo could use some work.
I'm very disappointed with the kit I purchased, the whole kit is over priced for what you get. And DO NOT buy the paints, they have absolutely zero coverage and do not work on the clay/ on their egg shell white paint the tell you to paint two coats of. I tried explaining to customer support that the paints are of low quality and we're told it's because the paints were no longer good after me having them for 9 months still sealed even though opened acrylic paints can last up to 10 years. Do not buy from the company they refuse to take accountability for low quality product and blame the customer.
I ordered a kit from sculpd in February, which unfortunately did not arrive in time for a planned event. I therefore returned it in a timely manner as instructed and received confirmation that it had been returned. I have STILL NOT RECEIVED MY REFUND despite multiple attempts to contact the customer service team who always say they are looking into it. I am now owed £100 and there has been no update about when or if I will receive this. Absolutely disgraceful service.
Ordered the valentines Candle Kit, went to use it yesterday and we didn’t have paint brushes, wicks, a mixing stick or a centering stick, all of which were listed on the page as being included in the kit, sculpds response is to partially refund me and have me buy the missing products from separate sellers, they said they don’t stock individual products so they can’t send me one. they obviously have this issue a lot because on they’re contact us page “missing product from my order” is on there as a quick link. won’t be buying again, very disappointed
Really enjoyed this kit as a first try at pottery! The clay is easy to handle and I liked it air-dries without needing any special tools. My first piece came out a bit lopsided, but that's part of fun. I just ish there were a bit more clay in the kit
WAsn't sure what to expect, but it turned out to be such a fun way to try pottery at home! The clay is really easy to work with, even for complete beginner like me, and I loved the air dries no need for a kiln or anything fancy. My first piece is definitely 'wonky', but that just adds to the charm ahahaha.
Made an order for the valentine's bundle and some extras and it arrived with half of it missing. After filling out an online form and e-mailing the UK customer service team, I have received no response.This was supposed to be a gift for Valentine's, but based on their lack of response I doubt I will be getting the missing items in time.Very poor communication 👎
This is worth a read..I am not sure what this company is actually doing and after reading the other reviews it seems it's consistently an issue that multiple customers have where they pay and never get the product or miss items. I came across them on Instagram and thought it was a nice idea, it was coming up to Valentines and what a great gift. I looked at other companies that do the same thing but I liked the branding and the way it looked, plus they don't have trustpilot reviews on the website..which would have made me proceed with caution. I ordered and on the website it says it will be shipped by 12pm, and I ordered on a Monday and would expect it to be sent on Tuesday with the 48 Hour Tracked they send with. Come Friday still nothing, I contact them and get an email back informing me "we don't promise 48 hours, we are still packaging it". Come Monday still nothing so I email again and ask if I could cancel and have a refund, they eventually reply and say "no sorry, its already been sent so you have to wait to get it first". I asked for tracking details and nothing back from them. Come Friday (almost two weeks after ordering) I get an email saying its been sent. I contact them again asking why they said it had been sent when it hadn't, yet again no reply from them, I assume to get out of cancelling it. Come Monday (two weeks after order) I check Royal mail who said while the label has been printed they have not received it. I doubt I will ever see it, it appears this is the case for many customers and they just go cold on you and you will not get a response. It's a shame that it was an issue that was so easily rectified if they wanted to. I now I am in contact with my bank who will help and have to go through the long process of Trading Standards. It seems disappointing that they are sat on a business which has so much potential yet seems to be more of a scam. At this point I would rather go dig the clay out the ground myself.
Absolutely disgraceful I placed an order and have had no updates as to what’s happening with the package weeks after I placed the order. Tried contacting different forms of customer service and still no response with an update or anything. No attempting to get a refund but with how the rest of the process has gone I imagine this won’t be easy. All feels like one huge scam.
