Self Portrait is a fabulous brand - gorgeous styles and excellent craftsmanship. But what truly stands out about this company is the customer support team. I truly believe the team at SP is the best of the best - there are a team of people that go out of their way to make sure the customer feels supported. Last minute changes are honored, tiny details are never overlooked, and what may seem like silly questions are answered with so much thoughtfulness - truly the list is never ending! This is rare for luxury brands, I know we have all had experiences with one brand or another that made us feel like shopping with them was a burden. But not with SP, this is the one rare instance where customers are cherished and supported. I want to give a special shoutout to Jacqueline, she is truly a gem! What was probably going to be a complicated order, was made effortless because I had Jacqueline supporting me and providing me with guidance every step of the way. She has a heart of gold and I truly don’t know how to fully express my gratitude! I hope the SP Teams knows just how lucky they are to have such a caring and thoughtful employee as Jacqueline! I have collected so many pieces over the years - the styles are timeless and the about of detail that goes into each item is breathtaking! I’m truly biased towards the dresses, it’s my one weakness! I want to thank Self Portrait for their amazing customer service. I had bought a dress for my wedding which I couldn’t wait to wear and when an issue arose they were really helpful and kind around letting me swap sizes. Other brands wouldn’t have done this!
I have so much love for this brand. Are they expensive? Yes. Are their garments the highest quality, most well designed, comfortable, BEAUTIFUL pieces you’ve ever put on your body? Also yes. I felt inspired to write this review after doing a large order with another well-known brand at a similar price point (Retrofete). I was feeling the pieces side by side and the difference in quality, comfort and design was HUGE. I will only be going to Self Portrait for my clothing splurges from now on.
