Who remeasures?!

Who remeasures after an employee makes a cut?!I was really excited for my first visit to Hobby Lobby. I purchased a few things, including some fabric. It was a great deal on upholstery fabric I was going to use in our camper reno. When I got out to the car I noticed I was charged for 11 plastic bags, I used one. Simple error. I went in, waiting online again, got a refund. After some thought we decided to go another route and would not need the fabric. We looked at the return policy and were happy to see it was able to be returned. Joke was on us. Apparently when I purchased the fabric the employee did not measure properly. She shorted us 3/8ths. While attempting to return the fabric at a store closer to my home we were told they wouldn’t take it back. He said that I must have cut some off. After letting them know we would be calling corporate, the manager offered to return only the measured amount. Corporate stood by that policy. If I wanted a tiny amount of it I would have just purchased that amount. I would not have purchased two yards. I took the lesser return, but feel cheated. Not only did the original associate make a mistake, but the company treated me as if I was in the wrong. Normally I would return to the store of purchase, but it was quite far away. The manager taking the return was angry because he would have to “eat the cost”. As a customer, that is not my issue, nor should we have been treated this way. All over a few dollars you have lost a customer. Likely a few more after I have shared my experience in your store. I have learned now that I have to measure something myself before purchasing.

A celebrity has arrived

I must compliment staff on how well they follow my family and I around each trip we take to make purchases, as they find us in every isle we move to. I also thank whatever online/radio social Christian stalker group they must be part of as they know I'm on my way in and make a point of having the employees stand by the door to welcome us! Once I even helped clarify a clearance product when they believed magic was used to lower the price tag by $.24 they stopped the purchase to call a manager over to look at the trick! I was being greedy after all in wanting two clay packs, what the guy said is they should've been $.24 more than what the sticker said. Talk about mistakes and discrepancies! (Yes, twenty-four cents, Close to a quarter!) Now thats talent, and just like that I realized I didn't even need anything i was purchasing to begin with! Shoot, if it wasn't for their help Michael's across the street wouldn't have any way of knowing I was on my way to their place, or look in the windows for my arrival! Most times I just shop to shop, crafting can be like that you know, but Hobby Lobbies affiliations with their Christian neighborhood watch programs help me get in and get out. It's great to see a company usesome integrity to facilitate purchadrs and price refunds or I would have to look hard in the big box of receipts for the actual product of purchased goods not just a " like" or "similar" item. Clearance items become great buys for all, since they no longer come up in their inventory cannot be returned, no buyers remorse here! I give away what I can't use since even reselling it seems wrong. You get exactly what you pay for, if you lose the receipt. It once bothered me that I seem to matter more than others since they ask me many times how they can help one right after the other, that I'm beginning to worry the rest of the shoppers might become envious and notice the special treatment. Kudos to that one employee who told me to look up the product online to find what the material in the actual product consisted of, usually works if the product number hasn't been reassigned to a newer product already. I guess they feel the same as I do about privacy and all they don't care to disclose the exact details with anyone. They are closed Sunday, keep it in mind, don't shop on the Lords day. I too believe its a great day to reflect on Gods gift and sacrifice to us all! Thanks Hobby Lobby for the celebrity treatment, God bless you and your employees!

Unbelievable

Unbelievable! I had to make an online purchase, (the store did not have the item), shipping was 9.95 for a light weight item, I hesitated but needed the item and thought well ten bucks, I should have it in 2-3 days right!....wrong!! they send it snail mail! It's been almost 2 weeks and I'm still waiting. I've sent an email to customer service and still have no response. People think twice when placing an online order with this company!!

Variety of things for kids

They have a good selection of things for kids! You can find the dinosaur in the dirt and be like an archaeologist! The kids and even myself love it!

They cant seem to ring things up right, ever.

I like the inventory and sale pricing they offer, but because they manually type everything in they have made an error and overcharged me 4 ot if the last 5 visits. Anywhere from $5 to over $30 on one visit. I ensure I look at my receipt when I get to my car everytime I buy there now. And to top it off, they have grilled me almost every time it has happened. I'm to the point I cant overlook it and be polite about it any more. Updste your cashier systems or is it that way to pad the stores profit a little?

Not pleased with how hobby lobby online…

Not pleased with how hobby lobby online works.. I placed an online order almost 2 weeks ago and still have not received my order I have emailed twice with no response, so do understand the holiday but we are approaching the 2 week mark... Highly disappointed that I have not received my order and no response as well.. however I do love shopping at hobby lobby, but they really need to seriously think about keeping their stores now stocked on cricuit and vinyl and accessory items and work on faster shipping time frames because a 2 week shipping is insane

Was in the Hobby Lobby in Gainesville, Florida...Joe in the picture framing department was amazing. He did an excellent job framing my picture. He was friendly and very informative. Didn't realize that they offered this amazing service at low costs.

I worked at the Pasadena TX hobby lobby the managers are no good they want you to do everything correctly but do not even train you and tell you to ask if you don’t know yet get mad when you ask they treat their employees like crap don’t get your lunch break on time ever and had me so stressed out crying making lies about my work the employees and mrs Donna always are awsome but Jeff and Tracey are rude and unprofessional

The people at the store helped me…

The people at the store helped me create a large map that is attached to foam and now I have it hanging in my house. They were so nice to me. I also bought the new style Christmas tree that they have that has the new bristles that I love. Great products, great service!
