The store is organized well, so it's easy to shop. They have furniture, fabrics, frames, candles, painting supplies, glasses, metal & fabric home decor, jewelry supplies, and much, much more. I love their picture frames, with real wood. I have a blast in the jewelry department! Beads, chains, & charms galore, so I can design my own pieces. I received a picture frame I ordered online and it was damaged when I opened it. There was a big chip in the corner of the wood. I called their customer service line and it was super easy to get a replacement for free! The person I talked to was very helpful. I don’t even have to send the damaged one back which is awesome.
I purchased 2 items from the center aisle which has a 50% off sign posted clearly on it. It rung up at regular price so I questioned it, I was told no, it was not half off and that I had to read the sign. If I wanted it at that price I needed to come back and return it when it went on sale next week!!! Sorry Hobby lobby, I’m done!!!
Disgusting service - pure and simple! Firstly, I placed an order for some items that were available at my local hobby lobby store (an hour away) and expected my order to ship from that store as was suggested. Instead, it shipped from Texas through USPS via DHL!!! It has now been 11 days and I still don't have it. Secondly, it sat in Texas for 4 days going no where and doing nothing and has now been given to USPS for delivery. They charge you shipping for this appalling, who gives a damn attitude, service?? I have gotten orders from the UK in 3 days and these morons can't deliver domestically in two weeks!!!!
It started out with a young lady, did not get her name stating what I was looking for was over there and that would be her guess however, John walked around to at least try to assist me and at the end Julieth came over and put me to register. I am a customer service manager. I just feel that some people just need training. If they don’t know they don’t do. Just FYI for owners it’s OK to have people on the floor but if they are not trained it’s nonexistent. This is hobby lobby, route 1 iselin
I love having Hobby Lobby here in Columbia TN., or anywhere, until today, 02/06/23. I visited to make a purchase twice today and both times checkout lines were so long, checkout clercks were so slow and untrained that I had to leave for other responsibilities after waiting 20 minutes both visits in checkout lines. The most troubling thing was that an adult female manager stood and watched the situation both times without pitching in to improve customer service by operating an available 3rd checkout lane. Come on Hobby Lobby, hold your managers accountable.
I drove 50+ miles just to find a bigger variety of craft supplies for a long time until Hobby Lobby finally built closer. What a treasure. A few months ago it was nearly destroyed by a tornado. Please pray for the ones who aren't scared to keep Christianity going. They're getting more difficult to find, as are handmade trades. God bless.
Store in Keene NH just opened so I checked it out. None of the aisles are numbered or have a list of items in them. Floundered around for a long time trying to find what I wanted. The few employees were busy trying to help other customers find stuff. Check out was awful, nothing scans, the clerk had to manually input everything I bought and she had to keep looking at a sheet of paper for codes. Generic receipt with no descriptions of the items. It only states 'ARTS AND CRAFTS' $2,99 don't know how I could tell if I was overcharged for anything. Won't shop there again, prices higher than Michaels.
Do all stores not allow their personnel to take breaks at the appropriate time-per law? Do all stores make their employees stay hours past the time they should have been clocked out/past when the store closed? Do all stores have their employees crying, having anxiety attacks, etc? Are all employees worked overtime and no relief because management won't hire more help? Do all managers tell their employees if they don't like a department, he'll move them to another department, but then doesn't hold true to his word? Do all managers keep putting more burdens on their employees because they refuse to hire more help? That they just don't care and have no compassion for how they are treating their employees? Do all your stores have boxes of merchandise blocking isles so you can't shop the store? How are employees to order and take care of their departments when they are constantly on the registers and never in their departments? Elizabethtown, KY needs new management! It disgusts me to know this is how my friends are treated there. I thought this was a godly company? You do NOT treat your employees the way they are doing!!!! Stockmen are climbing ladders without someone supporting them. That's against OSHA regulations. I could go on and on! The management, Justin and Cameo, are horrible individuals that are leaving their employees crying, wanting to quit, etc. Shame on you Hobby Lobby!
