Cider is absolutely terrible. First of all, when I made my order I specifically asked for all items to be shipped together. They split it up into 2 orders anyway! Half of my order arrived because it was delivered by GoFo and the other half was supposed to be delivered by UniUni. The UniUni package was never delivered because of an “incorrect address”. My address was correct and I’ve never had an issue before. The package was returned to the warehouse after 1 failed delivery attempt. I asked for a refund after waiting a whole week with no update from UniUni, and I made several attempts to contact them. Their phone number doesn’t work and you have to submit a ticket through their website. No contact with a real person.
I finally reached out to Cider themselves and requested a refund. They tried to give me store credit and I said absolutely not. I made them give me a full refund back to my card on file. I will never shop here again.
Why is it so challenging to get a simple refund from this company? The first time I encountered an issue, I was offered store credit for an online purchase. I spent a long time trying to resolve it properly, only to never receive a response. I decided to give them another chance and used the credit to buy a jacket, which I loved, so I also ordered the trousers. Unfortunately, I didn’t like the trousers and returned them. They had been marked down after my purchase, and now the company is attempting to refund me the lower price instead of what I originally paid. Their refund process is extremely frustrating—you just go in circles without getting clear answers. Overall, the company lacks professionalism. I won’t be shopping with them again.
The return process was extremely frustrating. The courier service they used lacked operational drop-off locations, and when I reached out regarding the return and the courier issue, I was told to manage the return myself without any help from the company—incurring costs for fully tracked shipping that were nearly half the return value. The return was never processed, resulting in a loss not only of the clothing's value but also of the shipping fees. I emailed the company for assistance but received no response, and throughout this ordeal, I felt ignored and dismissed, even though the logistical problems were on their end.
This feels like a scam! I bought a large overall on sale and paid €7 for shipping. Although this is an English brand, the item was shipped from China, which seemed odd, but I thought it might be an exception. It took an incredibly long time to arrive, well past the estimated date. When it finally arrived, it was labeled as large, but it didn’t fit me (I ordered one size up to ensure it wasn’t tight) nor my friend who wears medium. Since it was on sale, returning it wasn't an option. I contacted them about the factory defect, and while they accepted the return, I had to pay for return shipping, and the refund wouldn’t include the shipping cost I paid to receive it. If this isn’t a scam, I don’t know what is. Shame on them.
I placed an order with the company on November 5th, 2025, received it on November 12th, and returned all items the next day. After returning the order, I discovered that they withhold part of the refund and require customers to cover return shipping costs, which cost me 96 DKK for items I didn’t keep. They claim refunds are processed within 7–10 business days, but it has now been 19 business days with no refund. Customer service told me to contact my bank, but my bank confirmed that the company has not approved the release of the funds, despite the reference number provided. I have followed up with customer service and have received no response. Overall, this has been a very frustrating experience. I’m sharing this to warn others: unless you are entirely certain you won’t need to return anything, I wouldn’t recommend shopping here.
Overall, I like the company’s clothes and have generally had positive experiences with their customer service. The designs are appealing and the prices are reasonable, although the sizing can be inconsistent, making orders feel hit or miss. The only issue I encountered was with a recent return. Both their website and refund emails state that they don’t refund shipping costs. I returned my order within 14 days and had paid for standard delivery, which they are required to refund under consumer law. When I pointed this out, they refunded the delivery charge immediately, without questions. I have no complaints about how customer service handled it—they were prompt and polite—but they really should clarify the misleading refund wording on their site, as it doesn’t align with consumer law.
