Scammers dream!!!! Shopify happily refund scammers even though presented with the full evidence of deliveries and tracking codes... retailers are simply f**ked using shopify.. never recommend and will give poor reviews on all / any platforms...Should be a minus rating!!!!!!
I bought something and it went through this crap! They didn’t have my full address and who’s to blame ? Me! Oh wait that’s right it’s my fault, it was me. Who has to pay the extra for postage ? Me why, Because the website I bought from used this nonsense! If I ever see this on a website again, I’ll not bother I will go somewhere else !
I am a shop owner the platform is really nice to use, I noticed pc mag had rated this the best ecommerce platform.Most of the complaints are from people who have been scammed by shop owners who are on their platform. what's understandable.But I am reviewing this from a shop owners review and the software is very nice.I used support and they were very helpful i was struggling to understand something on Shopify.They Did me my own video to help me with my issue.The software can be a bit tricky to understand the support staff do seem to be their to help shop owners. They took about 5 mins to answer me via live chat.
when checking out on an online retailer's website, Shopify completely hijacks the process and automatically redirects you to their own service instead to purchase and pay. i don't appreciate that. it's frustrating and seems to be a completely pointless system which is worse than useless. and it charges the retailer for doing so.
I am a customer of several shops that use Shopify. They have now forced me to download their app to get delivery updates. The app encouraged me to allow access to my email to track orders from other suppliers. This has been a disaster. The spam updates from them are not helpful. I have now also had a spam order for a large amount of money for which I have not ordered or had any email contact with the supplier. The shipping and billing addresses are not mine and are in another country. There is no way in the app to revoke access to your email so I have had to go into MS365 to do this. Shopify always used to provide a good service to customers but this has been quite frightening. If you are a business you should avoid them like the plague.
i’ve tried contacting support multiple times but i genuinely think it’s all AI. i’ve invested loads of money into my shopify and it’s just completely failed and i’m so disappointed that it’s not worked and that i’ve not got any support from shopify. as a student, don’t go for it.
