I enjoyed the website until it was time to pay out and they withheld payments even though I went out of my way to register a busyness even though I was an individual only for them not to pay out. You can pause your store half way though a term but if you want to change anything you have to start a new term. Absolute cons
I set up my website thinking that Shopify would be the best site to use and boy was I wrong. After spending hours on my spreadsheets that were set out as shopify ones, I would upload them and lots of information would be missing so in hindsight I would be doing half of the work twice over which as a business is not really effective.The main issue that is bugging me is the setting up of delivery costs. Right now I have had to cancel all orders from Northern Ireland as it is still linked into the shipping as it is still in the UK category. Yes you can buy apps for this but why pay nearly £20 a month when all you need to do is change one price? The set up is OK but you need to take in mind the sheet cost of apps required to keep your website running as it should be. The only plus side is that it is charged in dollars but my bill this month was still high and I only pay for 3 items and one is the cost of the store itself.I could go on forever but I just don't have the time.
So you spend monthly for a shopify plan then I have to go out and buy two more domain names to change to active my website again as it was down because I apparently was trademark infringement my a company and the name I had was no where near to theirs! Bought another domain with another name and still they won’t let me get my website back up! Not offering me a refund and closed my store that I spent so much money on! Not happy as they won’t help and before I could get a penny from my business I got nothing but wasted money on shopify. Well done 💥
This is worst company ever , i used them before and service used to be good , now they are just conning and scamming people ! They signed me up and wont let me pause my subscription ! When u email them a complaint for the misinformation, they wont even reply!!! Aweful
Really bad experience I brought LED light for my son from the website called neon valley smart LED light I haven’t received my items and the website disappeared and there is no way I can report this shop pay can’t protect you use PayPal at list is safer. Order number: 1462
Deleting my accout was a nightmare.My account was inactive, so I had to pay for the reactivation, then close my account. I've never seen such a backwards ass system in my life. Not what I expected from a company like this.I will never use Shopify again.
