I had a very frustrating experience with Shopify. I signed up for the £1 per month for three months offer, accepted it, and started setting up my store. However, after the three-day free trial ended, the offer suddenly changed to just one month for £1, with no clear explanation.Despite contacting support and providing screenshots confirming the original promotion, they simply told me that the offer had ended, without offering any real solution. It’s unacceptable for a system error to affect users like this, especially on a platform designed for businesses.If Shopify can’t even properly apply its own promotions, how can anyone trust them to handle sales and store management reliably?I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but this kind of issue wastes time and creates distrust.
I placed an order with one of Shopify’s retails and the order was showing on Shopify as delivered even through I had not received the items. I notified Shopify and was told to contact the company directly which I have done on two occasions with no response. I have gone back to Shopify with this information and have now been told that I need to raise a dispute with my bank. Shopify have been no help whatsoever with disputing this and the ship is now showing as unavailable on Shopify. They are clearly allowing scammers to use their company and take no responsibility for this. AVOID USING SHOPIFY AND ALL ASSOCIATED RETAILS USING THIS SITE
I was sent an unsolicted but personalized mailshot extolling the wonders of this company's services. Having various questions, I attempted (and failed) to make contact. With great difficulty, I finally found an email address, only to receive an automated reply a couple of days later that their support email 'no longer accepts incoming messages. This includes when you reply to a support ticket after it has been closed,' Apparently the only means of contact is now via their (AI) help centre - available only to active customers. Yesterday I learned in the press how their CEO will no longer make hires for a human when an AI can do the job. Welcome to the future.
Gutted , wished I’d seen this earlier. Hoping my bank will see I’ve been scammed out of £625. Tried calling emailing Nothing, their support page after chatting on AI is ridiculous as my URL has disappeared so it won’t let me go further with my complaint. Utterly gutted and frustrated . Plz plz do not use them , do not buy from Argent Bespoke timeless. So upsetting,I don’t have the money to lose so much, this was a birthday 60th I saved up for months. Plz read and trust our reviews….. Do not use!!!
For any Start Up Business - avoid Shopify.They close your start up business - (even though it is so early in it's birth that there are no Products nor Customers, as you learn to navigate the Start Up Process) - under what they call "Violation of Shopify's Acceptable Use Policy".Trying to contact Customer Service's to ascertain as to just what you are being accused of (as their "form" to appeal this accusitory decision does not work if you have no Products/Customers/actual up and running Business !).Oh, and don't try to contact the given email "support" address on it's Website "Contact Us" page as it no longer is operational due to their "changing best how they support you".If you are accused of anything surely it is "innocent until proven guilty" - but with Shopify that is not applicable. They seem to feel that they are above that and "reserve the right" to offer no explanations.I can totally appreciate all other reviews offering 1*.An appalling way in which to treat it's Customers - with total disregard.
