AVOID shopping on shopify,I have been conned by a company on their website whos online shop has now been deleted and shopify are telling me to contact the seller(thieves) directly,I thought I had bought a shed but Shopify are not interested in helping me,they want you to pay an annual fee to talk to a real person AVOID at all costs
Awful company who assist people in committing fraud. A theif has used my elderly elderly parents address for his fake company. Companies House have helped us, as too have many other companies in having the address removed. Shopify won't help! I've had to report them to Action Fraud. Also, the only way you can contact Shopify is to create an account so they now have my details too, which I hate. Avoid this awful company!
As a consumer, not a shop, I don’t get it? Assuming a seller has a web address/store what’s the point? Shop hasn’t tracked orders, only duplicates what I can already see, it doesn’t protect the buyer in any way whatsoever, there’s literally no functionality or purpose.
Placed an order, had conformation and receipt, tried to contact them phone message at all times of day and night. When i did get a response after a threat of legal they gave me a sob story. and then nothing. SHOP has me going round in circles, stating i should contact my payment provider (which was them) they are as bad as the companies they deal with.
