A scammer has published my personal telephone number on his website which is using shopify to scam people. I keep getting phone calls and texts from the scammers "customers" asking where their order is and threatening me.When i try to report this to shopify, the only option is to complete an online form which ALSO sends a copy of my personal name, phone number, email address ***to the scammer*** How ridiculous is that?
Shopify is an abysmal platform with non-existent customer service. After a ridiculous merry go round with an AI chat bot, there's no way whatsoever to have my query resolved because I need a seller account to chat to a real-life agent. I'm not a seller, I'm a customer encountering an incorrect postcode issue everytime I try to purchase from a retailer using Shopify. All of the couriers have my postcode recorded correctly, this is a Shopify error and there's nothing sellers can do to rectify it. Why is it proving so difficult to resolve this?!
I got scammed by a shopfront and Shopify does nothing to vet these or provide follow up when you report issues. They are enabling fraud and providing a platform for illegal activity. After Id filed a report about the shop in question a note flashed up that it’s automatically forwarded to the shop owner and Shopify wont do any follow up. What’s the point?
Do not use this shopify wish id have looked here the bank has to wait to the 17th of January to help me as it might be delivered yes and my name is the Queen of Sheba it’s not coming wish they had to wait the company for my money it’s lambs closet or lambs shop do not order off here it’s a scam total rip off should be ashamed of them selves I’ve sent e.mail after e.mail and shopify but nothing no correspondence lumps of s..t unbelievable don’t order nothing off shopify lambs closet or lambs shop it’s a scam
I used Shopify to purchase items from a supplier called Rebecca Rhoades. I needed to return two items totalling over £400. over 6weeks later I received an email from RR saying they could not pay me my refund. She offered me an exchange of items insead. Despite numerous emails she has not replied. Due to the period of time that has lapsed I am unable to log a complaint or request a refund for unreceived goods through Shopify . Rebecca Rhoades is still advertising online and Shopify are still affiliated with her despite RR saying she is now in receivership. I am so disappointed with both services I feel as though Ive been scammed off by RR who took and kept my money and Shopify have provided me with absolutely no customer service or protection. Do NOT be conned into using RR or Shopify you have no customer protection
Ordered some items via a website with Christmas money, which turned out to be a shopify merchant. This Christmas I have ordered at least 40 items through various companies. 2 of which were ordered through shopify. Every parcel arrived except the 2 through shopify, no chance of getting a refund they don’t even respond. I’m just annoyed I didn’t check the reviews first.
