Purchased from a Shopify store, only for the website to disappear offline once I had paid and received confirmation of payment. The complaint/help chat was absolutely useless. After explaining I had lost money and that the website had gone offline this was the response I got from the online help line“ Alright! If there's nothing else I can help you with, I’ll go ahead and wrap up our chat here. Wishing you a wonderful rest of your day, and lots of success with your amazing store! I will be available for you via email in case you need further assistance”
Shopify well! What can i say .Shopify tempts you in with easy to make websites ,Yes that was true I got that done .What they failed to tell customers is that you will never make it through google merchant without a computer whizz kid degree .That is what has upset me . What a waste of time and money ,You speak to customer service who know nothing ,Avoid! !! is all I have to say .You will save yourself a lot of time wasted down the drain.
Someone has used my name as a domain name on Shopify. I have tried to contact Shopify only to find SEVERAL MORE PEOPLE have had and are having the same experience.You keep getting asked to login to your Shopify store. Ermmm...I don't have one! In one response to another person they acknowledged that you need a store so they gave an alternative link. Hmmm...the link led back to the bot asking for details of my account.So, it seems the crooks know that Shopify is open game and they are protected. Not good for anyone.
Shopify work with Fraudulent companies and you cannot raise disputes with them for 30 days plus after order has been placed. How can you promote companies which are fraudulent and take payment and goods are not received. Email address on receipt looks like a gmail personal account. Disgusting
If i could give 0 stars I would. I did not authorise ANY of my information to be retained whatsoever. They have my name, address, email address, card details etc. I've been trying for days to delete my account and it will not allow me to. Customer service just regurgitate the same b******s but effectively they will not close my account. Surely this cannot be legal, cannot possibly be compliant with data protection. Beyond angry, disgusted and let down. Strongly suggest not to use.
Platform appears to be legit as they do coordinate part of the sales/transaction process for some reputable companies. However, they also facilitate the transactions of fraudulent scammers and therefore appear to be a massive part of the problem with no integrity as a company. Shopify / Shop… so unbelievably immoral.
NOT WORTH EVEN ONE STAR!SHOPIFY Purported to represent "Charles & Oak", Manchester, and others -I ordered a pair of Mens Clogs/Mules from Charles & Oak on line, only much later learning that the main umbrella company was Shopify.When the footwear arrived it was found that they were not as depicted in the ad photograph. They are not as described, of inferior make and quality, and the wrong colour. There was no invoice or consignment note, and no return address in or on the packaging.I have sent three emails to support, requesting satisfaction, but all messages have been ignored. The original company, Charles & Oak, does not appear to be legitNOTE: The very same footwear is depicted for sale on numerous other purported web pages which MUST also be regarded as SCAMS, as these companies do not appear to be legit either.
I gotta praise the Royal Mail as Shopify are giving out false info.. Ordered an item a few days ago according to Shopify they say its delivered, but gotta tracking number from Royal mail as the courier & I am assured of delivery on the 14.. Tomorrow!!!.. Thank you to Royal Mail for correct information.. Gonna delete this Shopify app ASAP.. Its fake
