I purchased a pair of prescription protective eye glasses from my eye dr. that cost $250.00. I received the same perscription (tinted) pair of glasses from simply eyeglasses for $100.00. They are identical and the pair from simply eyeglasses were tinted. I highly recommend you buy your glasses from simply eyeglasses. Fast professional service as well. I will continue to shop here.
For over 6 months I searched for a certain frame. I finally found Simply Eyeglasses.com on the net. I actually called simplyeyeglasses and spoke directly to them. I had the information from my old frame and gave it to the girl on the phone. She came back on the phone and said yes they can get it and it was a third the price I had original paid back in 2010 from a eye doctor. YAY. My order was for progressive lenses on a Silhouette frame. The turn-around time was within estimate and the packaging was excellent. The vision from the new pair was a little off. I had my PD taken at a local Target and found the self-measured PD I provided was 5mm less, so my fault. The temple mount points were below the bridge mount points, which seemed off. In setting up a return, the follow-up communications were outstanding -- quick responses and great attitude.
During the re-order, I asked about other frame shapes and was sent templates not posted on the web site. Found one I really liked and changed the shape. In addition, I asked for a high luster edge and increased the corridor range in the intermediate (heavy computer user). This turned into the most custom eyeglass order I have placed anywhere. The turnaround was in days, and I am very happy with the result.
This is the third time I have gone with this frame/lens combination and the first time I ordered online. Out of the three purchases: boutique, office, and online -- this yielded the best result and cost hundreds less.
I have been dealing with this supplier since 2009 and have always had superb customer service. Fast response time and quickest shipping times available. On this occasion, the first time I bought totally rimless frames, I was less than satisfied how the lenses were secured to the Frame.
It looked very crooked when oriented on my face as it is not level when even on a flat surface. I feel bad to post here before first making it known to customer service directly, because I received nothing but superior service over the years, just been too busy to make this "complaint".
