Review Time
I have been with Site5 for more than a decade. I could always rely on them. I had awesome tech support, nice people, knowledgable people, that new how to guide a not tecky girl. Today, DEEPTHI guided me throug an issue and it was seamless. I really recommand you choose Site5 as your service provider.
I have been with Site5 web hosting for nearly 10 years.I have had very little issue with their service. The tech support team is helpful when I need to reach them, and usually have any issues resolved within minutes.I have had some serious issues that completely broke the websites I have, but the Site5 team has always been able to fix it relatively quickly.If I had to to find one thing to complain about, it would be the price. They are a little bit expensive for me, but then againm maybe it is all perspective. However, my sites never go down, and the tech support helps me to get things going when I do something wrong. I have yet to find a reason to go through the hassle to change web hosts.
Please, for you sanity's sake, avoid this "service". Despite my having cancelled this service last year, they have again debited my card for another years subscription, and are now saying they will nor refund.Band of thieves and charlatans. Do not use !
All these bad reviews are really curious to me. I'm now a teacher, but I used to be a pro enterprise webdev— and I still do some small-time gig work— so I've seen everything in webhosting. Obviously, no host is EVER problem free, period. But I can't remember having ANY serious issues with Site 5 that weren't resolved by support very quickly. I have been a customer for...I'm not even sure how long, but something like 20 years.Their pricing has always struck me as comparable to anyone else (once you are past the crazy cheap introductory prices you see all over the place), especially given the excellent aforementioned support I have always received. I don't know if the bad reviews are fake, written by unreasonable people, or if it's just that people tend to write reviews when they are unhappy and not when things are going well, but I like Site5 and I have no intention of leaving.
The worst technology company in the world, I have never had a worse experience. Avoid them and you will save time and money. They are truly a disaster. You may find that one day they changed the NS of their servers and they have not previously notified you and all your services are down, when you generate a support ticket and they respond after 2 days with luck, they give you the new data to update it with an apology because surely "you" did not receive the pre-warning email. The worst of the worst is here.
