Review Time
Terrible customer service. Returned shoes as were too small, paid for their courier, got the tracking, arrived at their warehouse then no refund a month later. Chased them twice about it, asked to speak to manager, etc. They say its 'under investigation'. Went into local skechers store and talked to worker, he emailed skechers and finally a month later they said they would refund.
I have bought skechers quite a few times over the last 7 years but the last 4 pairs have all worn through the inner lining of the big toe within a few months. I was told sorry past the 60 day warranty. Why should a pair of shoes only be lasting such a short time. The quality has definitely gone down hill. If your shoe is such a good brand then why does your warranty not reflect that.

Be warned when buying from this website. We bought a pair of light up shoes for my daughter. When we received them they only light up on the cats eyes on the shoes tongue, but they also meow every time they light up. They were advertised with sound activated lights, and no mention anywhere that they make sounds. The sounds are very annoying for everyone but my daughter. So of course she wanted to wear them, but after an hour everyone else was sick of the noise. So I complained to skechers and tried to get a partial refund on them as we can't return them now, and we are limited as to where she can wear them due to the noise, which can't be turned off. I got nowhere with customer service, they didn't know what they were talking about and refused to admit there was a problem. I will not be buying from skechers again.

Beware when ordering online you cannot cancel orders once placed. I had a 20 dollar reward so decided to place an order over the threshold to get the discount. However when we changed the order it removed the discount and we didn't notice and were charged full price. We tried to cancel the order within a few minutes but there was no way to do this. We contacted them both via chat and email and they stated you have to receive the goods and then return them in accordance with their return policy. To do this you either need to go to their store or pay 10 dollars to post them back. Even if you do this you still have to pay shipping as this will not be refunded. This is ridiculous. As a developer I work on a dispatch system and know you can easily cancel an order especially when it's made at 12:30am at night when no one is working. Sketches choose not to allow cancellations to make it as inconvenient as possible.

The expectation was that they would arrive in time for my daughter’s birthday party, which was within 4 days. However, Skechers eventually dispatched the shoes from Australia, four days after the order was placed and paid for. Despite my multiple attempts to contact them via chat, email, and in person at a New Zealand store, I was unable to speak to any human beings who could assist in expediting or cancelling the process.Skechers serves as a prime example of a company that prioritizes customer satisfaction only when things go smoothly. When issues arise (such as the delay caused by individuals responsible for dispatching the shoes), customers are left to fend for themselves while still bearing the consequences of the company’s mistakes.On a positive note, the shoes do look cute, but they are primarily made from synthetic materials. If you’re concerned about your daughter’s foot health, this might not be the best choice. This experience marked my first and last time purchasing anything from Skechers.

Joining the other one star reviews here. Ordered and paid $15 for fast delivery (1-3 business days) as these were needed in a hurry for my 91 year old mother in law who had hurt her shoulder and needed slip-ons. Received email two days later saying despatched. Still hadn't arrived 7 days after ordering so I emailed asking where they were. No response. Shoes arrived 9 days after order. Returned them as it was too late by then, we had gone elsewhere. Interestingly when I tried to place a review on the Skechers NZ website I got the message "Something went wrong. Try again later". Wondering if that happens for all of their low star reviews?
