I entered into a PRO subscription by accident and managed to cancel my subscription 12 hours after I enterd the subscription. I didn’t use the product during this time. This was great support delivered by the Vustomer Success Team.
I signed up for 7 day free trial. I didn't find it very user friendly so I cancelled it on the 7th day. They still deducted $180 from my credit card and my bank charged me international transaction fee. I've emailed smallpdf but so far no response. Don't be fooled by the "7 day free trial".
We needed this service, I am guessing 2 years ago. We we first started getting charged and Didn’t realize it was recurring. We tried to cancel but they will not refund the $120 that hadn’t cleared yet. There are no emails to inform you about renewal or upcoming charges. Customer service says they canceled for next year.
Date of experience this review required is actually "ongoing." I've been using SmallPDF for a few years now. While I was a little annoyed that the amount of freebie usage was changed to a lower frequency, it was very understandable. Overall very simple and easy to use, worked extremely well, and responsive customer service who actually took your suggestions to heart. Was actually sad to cancel my membership because I'm getting a different pdf service at work. But at least I can still use the few freebies a day as needed. Thanks SmallPDF!
I can easily create PDF files as long as I am able to print the material to go into them. Some apps even have a PDF creation facility.However SmallPDF gives me further control. My most common use is to make the files smaller without losing usefulness. I can also split PDF files, join them and do all sorts of page reordering of PDF files.Even with today's large capacity discs, compressing files is useful because youmight want to store thousands on a disc drive, I believe it is courteous to send small files to other people as long as information is not lost.
