I agree with a few others that have shared their experience here. When you sign up, you agree to their terms, which state that your subscription automatically changes into a pro-subscription, for which you then immediately pay €90,- a year. I assumed I had timely cancelled the subscription, but apparently that never came through.I contacted the customer service straight after the subscription changed, and all I got were sentences that could simply be copied and sent to everyone that had fallen for this scam. Questions I posed in my communication that didn't get any reply:Why don't you have monthly subscriptions?Why isn't there any notice or reminder shortly before the free period expires?Answers to said questions, based on personal experience: we want to take as much money as possible away from unsuspecting users.It's an unethical practice based on greed, and I therefore urge everyone not to use this platform.
I thought that I needed pdf software but couldn't justify a monthly ar annual subscription. When I realised this I contacted small pdf I contacted thee customer support and they were brilliant and supported and guided me all the way. If I do need a pdf in the future I won't be looking anyware else.
If I could rate it a 0 I would.I took a free trial and forgot i would be charged.i didn’t realize I got charged then 3 days after I got charged for the membership starting day.I contact the support which they only have email support and they rudely tell me it’s my fault over and over.There are several companies that have free trials and sometimes i forgot to cancel for the time being and always get a refund as what am I going to do with a membership I won’t use right now?Anyways they have a terrible way of dealing with customers just think about how they would treat you in any case otherwise if they can’t even simply refund a membership that started 2 days ago.
I tried the 7 days free. I was happy to find an app that allowed me to do things for school. However, I tried to cancel my subscription at the end, but wasn't able to do it before 00:00. It was a minute after. I sent an email right away after to explain the situation. They didn't want to listen to me and give my money back. It already happened to me with another application and they were more understanding. I was about to recommend this app, but don't pay for this app! Also I tried, the translation function to see if I could do it, but it didn’t work. If it was about less than $100, I won't complain that much. They took $144 and they don't even care that I am a student and can't allow this before summer. I just wanted to try this app to potentially pay for it later. But for the terrible bas customer service, don't even try it. You won't able to cancel your subscription and they will take your money.
I signed up for the 7 day free trial and used the program for two things. I tried to cancel on the last day of the free trial. System didn't allow the message through. I thought, no big deal, I'll try again later. I tried the next day. The day the were supposed to charge me. They charged me, I cancelled. Explained my situation and they denied my refund. I sent 3 more emails explaining my situation and even offering to take a 15% hit or pay a $20 charge or pay for a month. They denied me, stood by their terms and conditions and stopped answering me. They kept my $144 and said I can use this program for a year. I have no need for the program and they have no heart, no integrity and should not be allowed to do this. I asked them to "Do the right thing" numerous times. No more replies. As I have looked through all the sites and comments, REDDIT, Facebook, Instagram and finally here, the sentiment is the same. DO NOT GIVE THESE GUYS YOUR CREDIT CARD. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. Brutal.
SCAM !! Stay away !! You will be pulled in into a free trial and scammed into a paid subscription. Charged my credit card $144 for a year. and now some bot is giving standard replies to my emails. They have no customer service, no phone helpline or live chat.
Really bad assistance service. Super arrogant and not caring about the customer. I had a problem with the website which did not properly load my request to delete the subscription and they refused to give me a refund of 90€. It happened the same with Amazon but they did give me a full refund.. These guys only care about money, not people.
