Unethical Billing Practices – Beware of Auto-Charges

Be very careful when using Smallpdf. They automatically charge you after the trial ends without any reminder, and their customer support refuses to help—even if you contact them less than 24 hours after the charge.Despite reaching out immediately and explaining the situation, they hid behind their terms and conditions and showed zero flexibility. The responses felt automated and dismissive, with no real attempt to assist.There are plenty of other services that offer similar tools without resorting to these shady subscription tactics. I would not recommend Smallpdf to anyone.

The customer support is really good

I've been using Smallpdf for 6 years, find it extremely useful and efficient. Recently had a need for an interaction with customer service for the first time, my issue was solved quickly and thoroughly. Highly recommend.

Smallpdf – Unacceptable Billing Practices!

I tested Smallpdf Pro, entered my credit card details, and quickly realized the service didn’t meet my needs. I forgot to cancel, and just 7 days later, they charged me €90 without any warning.I immediately contacted their support for a refund, but they flat-out refused. No reminder before charging, no flexibility, no goodwill. They trap users with hidden charges and make cancellations difficult.That being said, is there any way to get the refund How can SaaS companies still get away with these practices today? All it does is create massive frustration and drive users away.This kind of approach is entirely unacceptable nowadays. I strongly advise against using Smallpdf!

Really poor customer service

Really poor customer service. I missed the cancellation (my own fault) but there was no help. I have not used the service since the day I signed up but that's not taken into consideration. They just want your money.
