Delighted with SM Retro

Firstly, I was taken back by the quantity and variety of wonderful shirts on the SM Retro website. It truly is a goldmine of a business and they hit the nail on the head with the era they specialise in. The 70s and 80s showcased the best football shirts in history.Placing my order was straightforward and, after receiving shipping confirmation and tracking, waited patiently. The website is transparent and all the answers to commonly asked questions are readily available.When I received my shirt I was absolutely astounded by the quality. It is better than the shirt I owned back in my childhood, with embroidered badges just like the player-issued shirts. Great value for money - they could charge double the price and they'd still be worth it.I'm contemplating what shirt to buy next, and I'm worried this may turn into an addiction. I haven't told the wife yet!Buy with confidence from this brilliant company.

Not satisfied

Not satisfied. I ordered a 1974 LFC top back in March for a 50th birthday. Sadly at the point DP retro went under I had not received the item and had many weeks assuming that was that. Then SM Retro appeared and assured us that old orders would be honoured. Several months of poor communication and no sign of the item by October I placed a negative review. I was promptly contacted by SM retro advising I would receive the order and asking me to remove the review. I did so and in October, after 7 months it arrived. The quality is really bad, nothing like the original picture. The inside of the LFC badge is very loose and sore on the skin, it's thin terrible fabric and stitching on the neck is faulty so appears twisted. I had asked for them to consider compensating the 7 month wait but had no response. Appreciate the company are going through a difficult time but this had been 7 months of poor service and deserved a refund in my view.

Great Quality Retro Shirts

I was delighted with the Sunderland shirt I ordered. The quality as mentioned on here by other reviewers is very good. Took a little time to arrive but worth waiting for. I'll be ordering again from SM Retro.
