We’ve had the country-themed subscription box for two years now, and it’s always a treat when a new one arrives. After all, how often do you get the chance to sample goodies from so many different countries? This time, after all this time, we’re finally trying the USA box—something my daughter has been asking for. Switching over to the new box was quick and easy, and now we can’t wait to see all the exciting things inside our very first one.
I bought a 1 year subscriptions of USA and Japan snacks but had to cancel after 6 months and ate only 5% of the snacks. The snacks they send are nothing like the ones they advertise in their website, there is only one good thing from a known brand and rest of the snacks are just cheap, low quality and near their best before date. Also the USA snacks have some additives and food colorings like red40 that make them really unhealthy. I found a lots of snacks that are already past their best before and got lots of boxes with opened chip bag in it. They do offer a discount on the next box if you have these problems but you end up getting the same problem next box. It is really hard to cancel the subscription. They offer discount or cancel after a period like 6 months.
I’ve recently discovered SnackPilot and I’m honestly so glad I did! Every box feels like a little trip around the world, packed with unique snacks I’d probably never get the chance to try otherwise. We loved the surprise of what snacks we would get each month. Only a couple have been duplicated. Took a star off because the dates on some snacks weren’t great. Overall the experience was ok and something different to keep my teenager happy
