SnappySnaps Southend write email adresses by hand to send digital copies to and as a result sent my pictures to a random address. They went to the effort of reading out the spelling correctly and then not checking before hitting send. Have had to call twice to chase. Absolutely disgusting to be so careless with people's private images. I am quite shocked that in the digital age, they would still make such HUGE room for human error. This occurred Sunday 18th of February in the Southend Store.
I wish I had 0 stars option .This feedback is for Peterborough city center shop.Staff very unprofessional , rude and after they damaged my brand new t-shirt which I supposed to gift it next day to my brother in law but I failed to do that. They were trying to force me get a 20 pounds voucher and get away with their mistake , after I disagreed with them they were trying to change my mind to not call the customer services and trying to convince me to accept the mistake making me look stupid saying that they will go even above me if I will dare to call and complain.worst experience from my life , will never go back in that shop , those people should never work there.=AVOID=
I've used his company twice and both times they've been utterly useless. Was never contacted about my photos, I'm presuming they even still have them? They're happy to take your money and then completely forget about actually delivering on their promises.
Officially boycotting Snappy Snaps!They have unethical marketing tactics. We were told we won a competition at the Crouch End branch (that we did enter in-store, a monthly draw) and will get a free photography session plus a £70 to spend on prints - great right? Well no, because once you've wasted yours and your family's time doing the photo session, you have to book another 'viewing session' in which you're all told that the minimum starting price for prints is £350 FOR ONE FRAMED PHOTO. After looking through Anna's absurd price list which resulted in us not being able to afford any prints, we were told we wouldn't even have access to the digital copies, Snappy Snaps hold the copyright!! So what have we 'won' exactly?? Nothing. You're forced into a corner to either walk away empty handed and time wasted, or spend extortionate amounts to get hold of the photos. We're talking about hundreds of pounds, maybe even thousands if you happen to like more than a dozen photos for print. I also found out that in the same month that we 'won' the monthly draw, our friend received a phone call too saying she'd won. So as it turns out there is no competition, just a way to get your details, call everyone and trick them into booking a photo session. To put this into context all other photography studios I know charge way less and give you access to ALL digital copies as a standard. No one has the right to claim copyright over your image. We left feeling pretty horrible about the whole experience. So I hope loosing a family of what used to be regular clients for the sake of making a quick buck in the short term, not to mention everyone we will tell about this experience is worth it.***UPDATEAfter Snappy snaps reply, I emailed them - 3 weeks later and they haven’t responded, that says it all.
I attended Snappysnaps in Brighton this afternoon for visa application photographs and advice. Rowan and Daz were extremely kind and supportive in dealing with my queries. Over and above service couldn’t have asked for more. Many thanks again Sharon
Two days ago, I left a review advising people to ask for a price before Snappy Snaps carries out any services in their shops. I was charged the unbelievable cost of £1 per sheet of A4 paper for photocopying. The response comes back from them:".We always try to be competitive in our pricing, and will you consider giving us another chance?".Yes, if you refund me £8.50 as I usually pay 15 pence per copy.What an utterly stupid reply to my complaint. Do you people seriously believe that charging £1 per photocopy is competitive? Instead of replying with this garbage, how about an apology for your staff not telling me the charge before I proceeded and refunding me? This is the worst rip-off I have ever experienced, and it is outrageous, and I am sure you know that.
Passport photos charged at £ 18. I appreciate that a business needs to recover its costs, overheads and make a profit. However this comes across as a daylight robbery. I am also concerned that the photos may not be standard EU passport pics: I raised this concern and the shop attendant assured me they are. Fingers crossed!! The charges are totally inconsiderate.
This was my first (and ultimately last) visit to the Norwich branch. I was hoping for a better quality than offered by Boots. If anything, the quality was about on a par but 3x as expensive! If you have money to waste, then be my guest. I will not be using their service again … ever!
The team at Snappy Snaps Clapham Junction are fantastic. They helped me brilliantly with some very last minute photo gifts before I flew back home to Australia that same day.
