Review Time
I visited a store with my two children to get photos for ID. I requested one photo for myself, one for my son, and a reprint from a digital copy for my daughter. We were in a rush for an appointment, and I didn’t realize how much I was charged: 2 passport photos for £49.98, 1 passport for £14.99, totaling £64.97. My daughter paid £15 for the same printout not long ago. Now the charge was £14.99 just for the reprint? My husband spent £10 for five prints at the consulate. If we had done the same, we could have saved £34.97! The price wasn't clear at the store, and we were not informed. I reached out, but all they could say was sorry! Avoid if possible!
I had my passport photo taken at a branch, but the photo was cropped too closely and didn’t meet the official requirements, leading to its rejection by the embassy. I had to retake the photo at another location, which was accepted without issue. The service cost £15 for the photo and print, plus an extra £5 for the digital file. It’s disappointing to have paid for a photo I couldn’t use, especially when another branch got it right the first time.
Snappy Snaps Wood Greenvery good value for money - Thank you very much.the team were helpful; gave their time to sort the printing and placement of the photos into the frames they sold me.A team for whom time to help was given with courtesy and kindness
Had what I thought was a very good interaction with Snappy Snaps ...... until I didn't .I will start from the beginning . I needed UK style passport photos . Great , will go to Snappy Snaps as every one I know has used them , and has rated them highly . Got my photos done , and the senior member of staff , who by the way was helpful and knowledgable seemed to make it look easy , they even tested the shot taken , by seeing if it would pass on the gov.uk passport site , which it did.So , if it went smoothly , why would I give them a low score ? Well , I made the honest mistake of leaving my wallet behind , I only found out afterwards when I got home , and realised , left front pocket was light , (this is where I keep my wallet and keys ), I checked ALL my pockets , and my bag , and it was obvious to the mistake I made . I did call , but the line was not the best , as it was a landline , and the colleague I spoke to was sure no items were left behind . I myself , have worked in retail , and sometimes items can be misplaced and put in other locations for safe keeping , as per company advice / guidelines , various companies usually vary info from place to place , manager to manager , etc , etc .So , I decided to go to check for myself . Unfortunately , the nice member of staff who helped from earlier , was no longer available , and the staff member who did try to help could not find my wallet , he did try looking , along with a different colleague . This is not what annoyed though ..... when I kindly asked the staff member if he could check the CCTV , he was kind enough to tell me that this branch does not have CCTV . I was left shocked , genuinely , I was in retail , both at the font end (shop floor) and back of house (admin and logistics ) for a total of 27 YEARS , and I know for a fact , CCTV was and will always be compulsory , for various reasons , theft / damage / assault / insurance issues , etc . I had to leave , no wallet , no card , no cash . I did leave my details , hoping for that all important call , but the experience was not what I hoped for . I want people reading this to imagine a scenario where you get attacked in retail a store any store , any where in the UK . You would think , that when need be , that CCTV would help , to catch the assailant .Then imagine being told sorry no video / CCTV ..... I would of taken it as a given ALL high street stores are like this . People .... take note , be careful and be vigilant and always remember your bearings , and where you keep all your items , always check before your leave a store , not just when your leaving your house .
Went into the Torquay branch today, sales associate was sat behind the counter looking at a computer screen, she was sat side on so would have been able to see me. A gentleman was walking the few steps between the computer screen and a large printer and engaging with the sales associate, he saw me enter and saw me at the counter, I wasn't sure if he was a customer or friend of the sales associate or both. I could see that the sales associate was inputting on the computer in order for the printer to continue so i didn't like to interrupt and I continue to wait quietly, after a few minutes I make a noise to try and make the sales associate aware of my presence, nothing!!! This continues for several minutes and still the sales associate doesn't acknowledge my presence. I couldn't be bothered to be wait any longer without acknowledgement so I left. Maybe I should have been more forthright???
Glasgow. The staff member I spoke to was extremely rude, impatient and generally unpleasant (very like the manager, who I've dealt with on a previous occasion.) I will not be going back into this shop again unless it has a complete change of staff! Unless you are a complete expert in their machines, know exactly what you are doing, etc & can avoid talking to the staff, really don't bother!
I am hear to let you know that the salesman MASUK in snappysnaps Balham, saved my life. I was having laptop issues like you would not believe and I ran down to the shop with my laptop and he did his magic ✨️ and assisted me, then the very next day I had more issues and again went to him and he helped me out again.....thank God for this Man Masuk. Please give him a pay rise and lots of time off. A grateful customer. Danielle
