I used Snappy Snaps in Norwich today to get a passport photo and they were really helpful and efficient. I didn't have to wait long and the whole process only took about 5 minutes. They were able to check the photo was acceptable for the passport office before I paid so no worries about it being rejected. They also gave me a code to upload the photo onto the passport website which was super easy. Would definitely recommend!!
Customer service, "Exceptional"Visited snappy snaps yesterday to print out some photos of deceased family members for a memory table at my sons wedding. For some reason my phone would not sync to the photo computer but soon Richard came to our rescue and soon commandeered my phone and sent my photos via email which worked out perfectly. Richard then came to rescue again when he seen us discussing a photo for we wanted printed for ourselves which we had just bought a frame for. Richard got the photo printed via email again and then went above and beyond the call of duty and cropped the photo to match the heart shape frame and then fitted the photo into are new picture frame, all at no extra cost. I will definitely use this shop again. Thanks again Richard for all your help it was really gratefully appreciated from 2 technophobes.
Snappy Snaps response to my previous review.TLDR I was really shocked at being charged £80 for shoddy canvas. BUT, Snappy Snaps Guildford staff got in touch to offer to re-do or refund me. I went for the re-do. Turns out, the equipment wasn't up to it for another 2 times and then finally, we got it right and I walked away with my canvas - at a good enough level of quality. The shop staff in Guildford were helpful, and the 4 stars are for them. I do feel the company need to look at the quality aspects of their offering, as it was very difficult to get this right.
I have just tried to get some photos printed in the Hertford branch. The assistant wasn't very helpful and told me I had an attitude problem as I made a comment that there was no WIFI to connect to, to be able to send my photos. She suggested I went back home and emailed them using my own WIFI and then return the next day to collect them. She then rudely said, 'Did I actually want the email address ?" I asked if she wanted my business or if I should go elsewhere. She replied I should go somewhere else. I am sure her bosses will not be happy with her turning customers away. What an unpleasant experience. I will never return
I have used the Lewisham branch of this company for decades and the staff there have always been great. On this occasion I needed a medical illustration slide to be copied from the 25 year old original for publication in a journal.The two young men on duty that morning did a fantastic job with the resolution and cropping of this image and it looked fantastic.They could not have been more helpful or professional.
Artur at Snappy Snaps Richmond was fab - he quickly understood the problem and solved it efficiently. Unfortunately my 1st visit didn't go as well with another assistant. But on returning to the shop, Artur solved the problem and deserves 5 stars.
I ordered a canvas print of a painting at Guildford. It was a simple job. A perfect square and only two tone in colour - black background, beige painting. I asked for a 30cm by 30 cm canvas print.I have received a 60cm by 60cm print, and the base hasn't got the print on it, it's the grey base. There's an uneven line so it wasn't printed in one take. The image isn't centred and over stretched. There's unsightly bleed on the edges. I said when I had to self place the order on a machine that couldn't even move the mouse to align the print that I DID NOT WANT these issues as it was a gift for a friend. It is lucky I wasn't selling this, as I couldn't, the quality is so poor. I think if you are going to charge £80 pounds for this service, one busy shop assistant who gets you to self-serve is a bit poor. I am writing to customer service for a full refund, and I still need my print!
