I wish I’d done more research before purchasing as I wouldn’t have wasted my money. First of all you have to get so much blood that it takes ages and leaves your fingers all bruised. Then after all that my result came back as inconclusive! Definitely is not advertised in a very balanced way.
After reading reviews, I decided that I would prefer to wait for a scan at 16 weeks. I have not opened the package, yet I am expected to send this back to America at my own cost, to receive the refund. This is likely to cost almost the price of the test itself! Absolute disgrace. Do not purchase. This company is simply taking advantage of us!
Ordered my test a week ago and tracking still says "acceptance pending". So I should have gotten the test and results by now but it hasn't even left CA. Emailed the company 3 times with no reply. Idk how to go about a refund but I'm about to check it out.
I sent my first test on a Tuesday and I got an inconclusive result the following Monday. They sent me another test which I did on the Wednesday and I got my result on Tuesday evening. When I reactivated my second test, I didn't get an email. I started emailing them over the weekend and I didn't get a reply. I sent about 5 emails by Tuesday morning and they finally responded to my last email on Tuesday afternoon. They were very kind and professional too. I have to admit that the reviews here about people being ignored scared me into emailing a lot more because I thought I was being ignored but that ended up not being the case.I have a 7 month old son and I also live with my husband. I followed the instructions carefully but I also prepped the area by disinfecting, placing down a clean cloth and then the test kit on the cloth. I disinfected the taps as well. Then I took a shower and did the test straight away to minimise contamination.My result is Girl which I am so happy with! I did another gender blood test with a different company to confirm and that one also came back as Girl. I am now confident to have a baby shower ahead of my 16w scan. Overall, despite the inconclusive result, I have had a positive experience and I am glad I took the test.
We ordered sneak peek on a Saturday, it arrived Sunday, we completed the bloods on Monday and had results by early Friday morning. All in all a speedy speedy turnaround from completion to results. Our results at 12 weeks stated our baby was a girl and just this week at 14 weeks we have had this information confirmed via CVS. We couldn’t be happier and more pleased with the service we received. I think if you follow the sample taking guidance and don’t do the sample too early your result should be reliable.
Said boy at 7 weeks found out today I'm having a girl, honesty save your money please I wish I hadn't done this the amount of emotional stress it caused me as I already have 2 boys I was dying for a girl! Book an early gender scan instead. Now awaiting my refund once baby girl is here
0 STARS. DO NOT use this test. Better to go to your local CVS and do the pee test. They don't tell you there's an 8 digit code inside the box that you have to use to "activate"it, so if you open the box near a "contaminated" surface, the results are basically already compromised. I paid $80 for the Lancet test, which is a finger poke test. They ask you to fill a narrow tube with .5oz of blood; "7-10 drops".. NOT. There was blood everywhere, it took me 45 minutes to fill, and my finger tips were bruised and sore for days after.They promise to have the results to you within 24 hours, THAT'S A LIE. By the time the postal office gets the parcel to the lab, it actually takes 4-5 business days to get results. I've been waiting on results AND STILL haven't received them. I've emailed.. to which they take "1-2 business days" to reply, and there is no contact phone number, so I had to schedule a callback for tomorrow..Expecting mothers, DO NOT use this service. It is highly stressful and their customer service SUCKS.
Sent the test last Tuesday, got notification on Friday that it was received at the freight service, got a notification today (Monday) that it was received at the lab and will have results in 12 hours! Make sure your email is correct and make sure you’re checking your junk/other folders!
