I’m sorry but I don’t have an option of giving negative stars.Very frustrating to deal with this company. No customer service. Their installation assistance is basically tricks to enter into the system and make more money. The moment I told the technician that I don’t want him to do any computer diagnostics, his behaviour was very rude and didn’t resolve the issue.I have raised the ticket via email and it’s been 6 days and I did not get any resolution. Remember that they claim 24/7 customer service support.
The most annoying, useless piece of software and I don’t know how to get rid of it! I installed the trial and realised within an hour that it useless and unable to do what I needed. I’ve cancelled the trial but the Soda pop up window keeps coming to my screen and freezing work every 20-30 mins. Now the new window appeared- the Soda PDF Desktop 14 installation and there is no way to close it. I’ve never came across with such a terrible software. I don’t need you Soda and I don’t have time to ask IT guy to uninstall your software. You are harassing people!!! Terrible company!
As a company we operate in Australia. Years ago there use to be support here but recently things have become so difficult using SODA. We had an employee leave the company and at the time her SODA PDF was to renew. I wanted to cancel hers and renew mine. They took payment for her SODA and deactivate mine.Its been a week sorting this problem through email:Thank you for providing me with additional details. I’m very sorry to hear that you were caught off guard by our billing and can totally get how it can be frustrating to receive a charge that you weren’t expecting however I’m more than ready to provide you with all details regarding the service. Please be informed that during the initial purchase of Soda PDF Pro software on 5/7/2024, you agreed with the Terms of Service where it was stated that this is an annual subscription with automatic renewal. To prevent money from being charged to your account, your subscription must be canceled at least 24 hours before renewal. You can read the conditions that you confirmed, I send you a screenshot.All I wanted to do was to transfer the subscription from one email to the next within the company.NOW I JUST WANT THEM GONE.THANKS SODA our support for your product over the years is not something that you value.
