Installing this product brought all kinds of unwanted pop-ups. Some said I had a virus, some said subscriptions were expiring to things I did not subscribe to. I uninstalled and the problem stop. Thinking it might be coincidence, I re-installed SODA, and soon the issue started again.
Awful. Additional charges were added to my cart without consent. Then I had to call to activate? And the person on the other end said to activate it, I had to allow remote access to my computer to someone to activate it lol. Horrible. Then to get a refund, I have to call some other number and jump through more hoops. Let's see if they actually refund me!!
Product is ok, trying to get them to unsubscribe and stop emailing you is a nightmare. I have tried for 4 months and just keep getting customer service apologies... yet it continues. I really prefer not to write a lousy review but this has been ridiculous. So much work and time lost emailing again and again. Have unsubscribed at least 5 times. cancelled and keep getting "you are expired, click here to renew" had to block them. The unsubscribe obviously is a mute point. For that reason alone its not worth the hassle. Disrespectful.
So used Soda Pro for a few years - learned as i went, it allows me to open and translate many documents for editing ,correcting, presentations and translation as well as sending documents more securely. I can translate in less that two minutes now. Great for the price tag, Support has gotten much better last two years and now is great.
I have purchased soda pdf as I needed for my private practice. I am visually impaired person and I need accesibility settings which soda pdf in nowadays seems not to care about. What means that?! Simple; lack of inclusion and imposibility to use the item. Did they respect their policy refund 30 Days guarantee?! No at all! They seems to have such a high volume of enquires that since January 2026 until now March 2026 they only confirmed the refund but the money never reach my bank account. So gutted with them! Such a terrible support services! I am sure that I am not the only one who has been treated like that and that they may do a lot of money just for nothing. I will never recommend Soda Pdf more that they seems not to have any values!
