The website and account management is awful…

The website has you set up an account for auto subscription and emails 5 days before it ships to allow you to add on to the order. However when you log in with the account the notification was sent to, the subscriptions do not appear and it asks you to create a new account over and over and over and allows the same email address! How is that not the primary key? Why are all of the other orders listed if it isn't my account? And the chat queue is an absolute stitch up. Never been in a queue where the number ahead of me actually goes Up as I am in the queue.

Beware the Customer-Hostile Return Policy

The E-Duo I purchased online arrived broken yesterday, and in the process of figuring that out, I observed that the build quality is nowhere near that of earlier models. So I called SodaStream's customer support to initiate a return (which you can't do online). They dragged me through a long process of requiring photos, explaining myself multiple times, etc (over two calls, because the first guy hung up on me). But the real kicker was: THEY WON'T PROCESS MY RETURN UNLESS I SEND THEM A PHOTO OF ME DONATING THE UNUSED CANISTERS TO A RETAILER NEAR ME. So, as if it weren't bad enough that the product sucks, I can't get my money back without the inconvenience of driving to some brick & mortar store to prove that I returned the CO2 (which they shipped to me, so why can't I ship them back?). Finally -- even this is not enough -- I am still waiting for them to "escalate to the finance department for approval." So, in short, their 30-day return policy is nota. 30-day return policy.

Sell and forget .

Sell and forget .There in Ireland no any locations to refill gas .Found one in dublin only .I spend hour on i internet .Only option to buy new everytime for 30€ 🫣 or refill online same price with 10€ refund where 7€ post .same zero value .Ireland far behind like always .My cousin in Poland refill in local shop easy for 17zl/4€ . Where in Poland cost food are equal to Ireland already .I won't buy again .

Terrible

I gave up on this company, terrible device construction and plasticy materials, the aim is to be eco-friendly but everything is plastics, I went with high end eco-friendly alternative and what a big difference in carbonation, this company just got so popular because of propaganda and unlimited support worldwide, but their products are aweful and only worth to end in trash bin.

Check compatibility between bottles, CO2, & machines.

After getting a second sodastream model, we come to realize that it was incompatible with the many rather expensive bottles we purchased for another machine. Upon further investigation, it is apparent that Sodastream purposefully do not make bottles compatible between their machines & machines compatible between their bottles; intentional designs of obsolescence that we do not & will not support. We will be selling off our purchases, return & refund the incompatible machine, & find alternatives moving forward.

Website is DREADFUL

Machine, great. Flavours, great. Website, interface and accounts. ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. Took me 5 attempts to set up an account, then you told me my password was wrong (when it wasn't). So I changed it, then it happened again, changed it again, happened again. Partner has tried, managed to order canisters but now we have 4 canisters we can't return because we can't get on in to our account!

SodaStream your online web acct sucks!

SodaStream your online web account sucks! Why is it so difficult to access my account information? It shouldn't be this hard to try to figure out when my next shipment is coming in or making address changes! I'm about to scrap my whole subscription & go with another canister subscription service because I'm so frustrated with you! You've got a good thing going on, but your website is total trash. Everytime I have to deal with it, I find myself getting frustrated & there's already enough things going on in the world causing stress, a canister subscription for my SodaStream should not be one of those things. I have contacted customer service countless times & they refer me to my account subscription page AND YET, All it leads me too is my last order, & that's it. I don't understand why you haven't made any efforts to fix this, esp when you have so many different rating sites telling you your customer's hate your site!? Me & thousands of other people paying well over $100 every 6 weeks, & I'm sure you can hire a web designer to overhaul your shoddy site. Had to vent bc I've just wasted the last 10 mins of my life trying to find my acct info so I can change the delivery date & I still haven't found it! I'm so done with you, there are other canister delivery services that offer less hassle so maybe if enough of us quit you, you'll finally fix what we've been complaining about for awhile!Sincerely,Pissed in PA

Bored of chasing Sodastream for refunds

The product is great but the system is really bad. I always have to chase chase them that my cylinders have been returned to stop them charging for them. and chase for them to actually refund the money they took. Really had enough!

They try to steal my money every month

i have once a month subscription. i promptly return cylinders at least 3 weeks before time. they charge me for unreturned cylinders EVERY MONTH. this company is THIEVES. if you don't watch your charges - they will steal your money. watch your credit card charges! this company is simply a joke.
