We absolutely love the fire pit, it is in general smokeless and is really warm . The complaint we have with it is that getting the ash out of it is a nightmare, very bad design fault on such an expensive product, we curse it every time. I note that they now do a removable ash tray so perhaps have had complaints but that is of no use to us now sadly.

The look and design of these products make you proud to own them. Which means you use them a lot. The quality is exceptional. They will burn under some pretty poor conditions and always work for me. The customer service if problems do arise are handled quickly and effectively. No questions and no debate. As a consumer, the only other brand that impresses me like Solostove when it comes to design, quality and sheer eye for detail is Apple. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed.

We bought a mini solo stove for backcountry camping back in.2015 and it was awesome! However, the larger stoves aren't the smokeless wonders they are advertised to be. We bought a Backyard solo stove in 2017 under he impression that smokeless would be good. Smokless, maybe. SPARKLESS? NOPE. We can't use this product for most of the year in our area (SO OR)!! Wildfire risk is huge where we live, and smokeless would be great, but even in April or May, we have to worry about sparks lighting up our trees. Finally gave ours away...

Bought the Yukon for my son Christmas 2021, he has moved out and I now need to take care of the Yukon. This is the Most Ridiculous product, especially knowing what I paid for it. I don’t care if it’s smokeless or not, cleaning it is an absolute nightmare!!!! There had to be a more efficient way, of creating a product, so the person purchasing it can maintain it with some sort of ease. Worst purchase for the price EVER!!!!
