Tried to claim after a flight was cancelled in Canada due to strike action. I have a multi trip policy but because so many clauses and caveats in the policy has resulted in them declining insurance claim. could only claim if it the flight to and from uk ? not any connecting flight during a multi city vacation. I'm now £2k out of pocket. policy isn't worth it. you need to be a legal expert to be able to verify if your potential future scenario may or may not be covered. Never buy AXA again
Just took out a new Travel Insurance policy, which had a 5* Defaqto rating & zero excess & looked very good on paper, but until I make a claim, I can't vouch for how good this company actually is!Good price though for this level of cover in comparison to many other similar companies.
