Not very attentive at Acomb York shop

Not very attentive at Acomb York shop. I had to wait 20 minutes just to make an appointment while assistants followed customers around choosing frames. Plenty of staff on duty however not one thought to see if they could help me. Totally unacceptable service, I only needed 1 minute of someone’s time.

Overall the experience was very good

Overall the experience was very good. The staff were friendly and professional and put me at ease. I was told my appointment was for about one hour but I was there nearly two hours. To try the glasses and make the measurements took longer than I thought it should have. I had to repeat two of the tests because something was wrong by which time I was completely drained.

the most helpful and attentive staff ever

the most helpful and attentive staff we could have hoped for. my mum is 94 and not very mobile but they never made her feel a burden and spent ages making sure everything was just right.Super impressed
